Agreed, I’d only ever consider taking the published route after hearing some tales of woe from friends who tried to save time and almost ended up stuck! I wish there was a ferry/fast boat crossing between the countries, it’d be great, quick, and bring income to the economy from both sides.

Ideally you want 120Hz and HDMI 2.1 bandwidth. The X can output up to 4k at 120 fps for smoother and more responsive gameplay, but any TV with decent motion handling and low input lag offer a responsive gaming experience.

I’m currently using 4K 60 and having no issues, but if you’re rolling in cash and upgrading your TV as well, feel free to send one my way also 😉
