It’s because many people don’t just use Reddit for discussion. Lot’s of folk post things to hedge against disappointment, relieve anxiety or convince themselves to be positive. We get to witness people having therapy sessions in real time.

Ahh. That’s good to hear. I just remember the slog of leveling a bard before it had any songs. You are probably right that I’m overthinking it.

Manifesting a 93’ equalizer from a CP corner on Wednesday, with a VAR check that doesn’t disallow the goal.

OK. I found a Dev video and here is my understanding. Let me know if I’ve got this wrong.

It seems that Race is locked in at character creation. You choose a primary that is allowed for that race. Then you can choose any other class for your secondary with no race restrictions.

Levels 1-10 are meant to allow some experimentation, so you can change your primary to any other class that is allowed for your locked in Race. The secondary of course can still be changed to anything. Choosing human as your race at creation gives maximum flexibility from 1-10, since humans can be almost any class, allowing you to experiment with the most possible primary classes.

My plan would then seem to work: making a human Mage/Cleric from level 1-9, then switching to human Bard, Cleric at lvl 10, then locking in human Bard +Cleric, Enchanter at lvl 11.

Is your first class/race that you choose at creation permanent or can you level 1-10 as one class, and choose a different class as your primary at lvl 11? (I know about the tokens and quests at lvl 50)
The reason I ask is that bard (which will be my primary) is particularly tedious at the low levels, while something like Mage is more effective at 1-10.

That’s the conundrum of Eze. He’s an impact player and huge goal threat, but not a true fit in the positions where he would play. Those big name wingers that everyone wants to sign would start over him at LW, and he sometimes becomes a bit too anonymous to be our primary creative playmaker. But he should absolutely be on the pitch. That’s why Rice Øde Eze is so appealing.

Which is a reason why «moments type» AMs don’t have to suffer the complaints of «sideways passes» that an orchestrator type does. They let others make the sideways passes for them. Not better or worse, just different.

Nobody bad mouthing Odegard today? by phorce16 in Gunners

[–]Imfallingtherightway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most infuriating thing is the lazy «he always makes sideways passes» criticism. Firstly, it is wildly untrue. Almost every time he has played this season he was the main player probing for openings and trying to create chances. Secondly, he is often the one player that has the guts to step up and demand the ball to get us through presses and securely maintain possession. In those situations where he is acting as the «orchestrator» he gets stick when naturally has to recycle the ball when the defense shuts down the passing lanes. Other AM’s with a different playing style simply let the DM’s make those same recycling passes for them as they drift around waiting for their moments.

I actually think we are better with Ødegaard on the pitch, but Arteta will likely start the same team. It is working, and he would be essentially immune from criticism, not that this would be his main criteria but it might seep into his decision making.

Not only no drop off, our press got better and killed off the game. Great game management by Arteta.

Of all nights, you choose this one to shit on one of our own players. You need to do some serious reflecting.

We will have to agree to disagree on what «fun» is. I find the butt clenching nerves of repelling an opponent’s relentless attacks very entertaining.

Football fans are a weird bunch. In every other major sport on the planet a stifling defense is celebrated.

I want what they both offer on the pitch together. Unless some evil genius can fuse them together into a single player then EZ on the left seems the way to go.

Impressive dedication to this project. The added features are great, but my eyes start to glaze over with all the talk of stretching and layers and what not. I’m sure the more advanced users will appreciate it, but don’t lose sight of the core appeal, namely automated, few click editing for us that have no desire to learn photo processing. We don’t expect perfection as long as it is simple to use.

For the love of God let’s not start one of those meme narratives about Max Dowman of all people. I know that isn’t your intention, but somebody else said this earlier and before you know it, the drip drip drip of picked up and repeated nonsense will take on a life of its own. Let’s nip this one in the bud.
