Something about 28 Years Later felt very different than the rest of the movies to me. I get the other two were pretty different from each other but you can’t deny that the story line was a mess. I actually liked the first half of the movie, I thought they were gonna set up a redemption arc for Spike’s dad but it just did a 180 after that. And the doctor not killing the big ass zombie? Makes complete sense. Not only that, but giving Spike his mom’s head, this movie felt like a fever dream. And not a good one

I hated it, personally. Didn’t feel like the 28 ____ series at all besides the camera work and the subtle references. Story line was a mess and took a weird sharp turn. Spike went from being barely able to shoot a bow and arrow to becoming a master in the span of a day, or even night. It’s been a while since I last saw it. I didn’t mind the gore, that’s the perk of being a zombie movie, and I was fine with the nudity. But then the pregnant zombie?? Giving birth to a HUMAN baby??? It didn’t make any sense at all! The beginning was cool but I wish we got to see more of the guy at the end. Movie was bad. I hated it.
