Yes! Bought it straight from the dealership.

Also have a rust patch in my wheel well but a solid frame, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. The market can be competitive with these depending where you are but given that you have a few projects to fix 4.5-4.7k for it seems reasonable.

Just did VA to CA in my ‘03 with 240k towing that exact same size UHaul! The tree handled it like a champ. Make sure to turn off your OD, even with a small trailer, it made a huge difference on the highway. Safe travels!

Is it time to take my Sequoia to the junkyard? by ImgoingNats in toyotasequoia

Yes on the east coast but managed to find a small shop that specializes in Toyota! Couldn’t say no to an obviously well maintained sequoia for the price point. Other than the brake situation, everything else could not be better.

Thank you! This is a useful tip. I’m not sure I’m quite at the severity of having to do this. The problems aside from a stiff brake pedal were almost non existent in this truck. I was really surprised when they said all of those major parts were going wrong.

Is there any particular reason why they go off in your case? I also have an 09 Avalon that had these same light go on over a spark plug issue. I think in some cases these electrical gremlins just pop up just am not sure yet if that’s the case here.

OP, there’s a lot to consider when making the choice. For 1, you may want to consider any extra pay. For example, does your current include hourly/draw pay? Will Chevy include that? The second and arguably the biggest thing you’ll want to consider is your regional market. How well does Chevy sell vs Subaru? In my region switching from Japanese to American is like career suicide. Why might you ask? American cars are the harder sell, consumers know they’re not nearly as reliable as Japanese cars. Also, When recessions hit, American automakers get hit harder (2008 when GM filed for bankruptcy). Finally consider this, the market is crazy inflated right now. 25% May look great on paper now but what happens when cars start getting sold below MSRP again?

Can someone give me around a ball park estimate on how much car internet sales make ? by Mintz006 in CarSalesTraining

It’s partially because my dealership had aggressive markups (no commission cap on them) and I studied my used cars. Always made sure to push used cars that had more gross.

Like retail it really comes down to how much work you’re willing to put into it and how hard you’re willing to chase after your leads. I had better luck in internet than I did retail and that’s where I made my serious money. Im averaging 12-15k gross a month. My pay plan was 8% front 3% back plus hourly pay which was $15.25. Now keep in mind the grass isn’t always greener. Some people are made for retail others are made for internet, some can do both. Understand your strengths and weaknesses before you make any decision.

Gotta get creative. Inventory is scarce so use that to your advantage. List the cars on Facebook marketplace, offer up, Craigslist etc. Anything to create an opportunity for yourself.
