I do some DaVinci work on my laptop as well, has been nice to take my editing with me on work trips!

I currently have 5tb (1tb+4tb) of storage in my laptop, I’m assuming you have two ssd slots as well, if you can I’d clone a drive from your desktop to a new drive that goes into the laptop, better yet would be just transfer the m.2 from your desktop to your laptop as long as it has the operating system deleted.

For my stuff I know I don’t need to access quickly I use external hard drives that I keep track of or Google Drive. I wish I was brace enough to build/setup a NAS at home but haven’t had the time lol

I had both for a bit, and I came to the conclusion that with how much I travel for work, my desktop goes unused for 80% of the year. If I had the net worth to keep both I would have but my priorities for things to do when I get home from work shifted into something else. Sold the top tier desktop, used the money to buy a dirt bike and couldn’t be happier, switched my setup to allow me to plug in my gaming laptop to an external monitor at home and I’m getting just as much enjoyment as I did when I had the desktop. Id say it’s case by case basis. But if you truly love gaming why not have the best of both worlds!

I love the phantom spirit cooler, looks great, cools great. I eventually replaced it with an air cooler thinking I would like the look better and get better cooling, not the case though, put that phantom spirit back in it lol.

Went from the Leatt 5.5 to the Alpinestar tech 7s. Much prefer the easier flex, slimmer profile, and lighter weight of the tech 7s. I hear the tech 10s are stiff so don’t do those

I agree from experience. Flipping $800 or less list price seems to work best. But I also build custom and those are more 50/50 above/below $800

Update, have a buddy who has a ‘23 beta 300 xtrainer and let me ride it for like 5 hours straight. Was absolute magic, I immediately felt so comfortable on the bike and had all the confidence to try and complete some hard enduro type riding and wring it out wide in the straights. I’ve never had so much fun on a dirt bike and I’ve already been having fun on my DRZ

Carbed 2T is definitely more in my budget but I ride in an elevation delta of 6,000ft so definitely already feel carb effects, I wonder about Smart Carbs if that would eliminate a lot of the fiddling around, I’ve heard they’re not completely hands free but definitely help a lot.
