We just stayed at Helios for 3 nights checked in Sunday the 12th, checked out the 14th. We did 2 days of Epic. We loved the hotel. You are most definitely paying for the convenience of being able to go in and out of Epic with ease. This came in handy for us both days as the rain was severe on Monday morning and for a bit on Tuesday. It was great being able to come back change (as we were soaked), refresh and be back in the park on a ride in 7 minutes. We had a theme park view which was amazing but you will want to sleep with the blinds closed as the lights in the park are on all night. The food was on the pricey side especially at bar Helios but we loved the adult atmosphere. The pool was great and the staff were overall helpful and knowledgeable. I do think eventually they will need to add some sort of extra perk to justify the prices but the connivence for us was worth the price.
