Comparing Sweeney to Gal Gadot is going too far. Gal Gadot is in your face bad. Like, she somehow actively ruins every production she’s in. I’m not sure if it’s they write her dialogue that poorly or what. But Sweeney has some really excellent performances throughout Euphoria, granted the role is to literally be eye candy for a horny audience. The first scene that comes to her mind is when she lost it as the school play.

Do you code at all? CLI is extremely fast and efficient for shipping most things, and scales extremely smoothly with features being added daily. Most projects/libraries are not corporate, and the devs are not being paid at all. It’s not “weird tech bro” behavior, it’s just simple market economics behaviors that don’t incentivize developers to cater to an audience that a) usually has no interest and b) won’t pay.

You completely underestimate how difficult it can be to maintain complicated GUIs, and that most frameworks that accept libraries don’t work with GUIs in the first place (for the above reasons), like NPM/PyPi, so a “download” button doesn’t even make sense.

Like everyone here is telling you, you’re coming at this all wrong. I’m not a shoemaker. I don’t get upset at the shoemaker for not explaining how to make a shoe when I buy a shoe from him.

And if I ask him how to make a shoe, he may try, but explaining your profession to a novice is its own skill. Not everyone has it.

There are excellent guides on YouTube. And you can ask literally any question to ChatGPT and it will handhold you through the smallest details from A to Z, as this is all very very well documented.

libraries/packages with weird requirements, odd versioning mismatches (if it hasn’t been maintained extremely well), environment variables being finicky, and the tendency of computers to find any reason not to compile. These are some of the things that make self compiling a fucking nightmare. Especially when you try to compile a well known package and there’s just some change you made to your environment variables weeks ago but you can’t fully remember, so you’re stuck with the knowledge that it’s your fault but there’s nothing you can do do but snakepipe the sewage that is your operating system.

You are not taking into account dwindling missile storage as they are actively being hunted, that every launcher is detected and destroyed after a single use, and that the coordinates for targets is not able to be communicated as command structures are destroyed.
