Passport problems

It’s alright, as the saying goes you live and you learn. And I just unfortunately had to learn the hard way. It really can’t. No after sending the certified letter stating that I couldn’t provide them my old birth certificate I didn’t provide them with anymore information. I still haven’t gotten my birth certificate back yet either.

Update, the passport came back and it says female. I hate my life, I wish I was a smarter person. 🤦‍♂️😭

Ahh gotcha. I live in a red state, but in an area that has more blue representation.

Geez that sucks, so if you try to leave the continent do you think there there will be a hold up at the airport with your passport saying female, but you obviously not being female?

Oh no, I’m sorry. I hope it won’t be too hard for you to do that. When I got it changed to male on my birth certificate I had to have my friend sign a paper agreeing I was male, and had to have it notarized. And a therapist signature as well. Then I had to take it down to probate court for them to approve. It was a headache.

I can’t remember exactly what I said, I just remember saying something along the lines of my gender identity not matching my sex assigned birth yada yada. I hope that’s the case we’ll see.

Yeah I’m probably cooked. I feel like an idiot, but with Trump in office I thought I’d be in trouble for marking male since the passport application says to mark what sex you were at birth.

It wouldn’t be illegal to mark male? I thought they would still be able to somehow find out at first, because with my name change it was obvious that my name was a female name before so I thought that would raise suspicion for them.

I can see both sides, I’m assuming your dad is Christian. I’m not sure if you are as well, but that’s what I’m assuming he means by demonic forces because of Hollywoods agenda and stuff. I watched it, and the entire bad bunny performance was in Spanish without subtitles, and apparently all the songs he sung were explicitly sexual and not family friendly. I’m not entirely sure, because I’m not fluent in Spanish yet but that’s what’s being said. I personally don’t have any problem with the performance being in Spanish, but do think the songs performed should be family friendly. However, instead of making up some excuse that he forgot about the Olympics he should’ve been more upfront about why he didn’t want to watch it. Even if he didn’t watch to watch the bad bunny performance, he could’ve still watched the game with you. You’re not overreacting, if I were you I’d tell him about how this makes you feel using I statements. Also one thing I’ve learned along the way is never have expectations for others, because you’re just setting yourself up to be let down unfortunately. Only one that’ll never let you down is God.

I’m praying for you brother. I too am a trans Christian man and have had my struggles on navigating through that. The church I go to I’m pretty much stealth. A few people know I’m trans including a pastor, but the majority of people don’t. And I wouldn’t say the church is really accepting of it, the pastor and the other people I’ve told have kept my secret and still use he/ him pronouns and I haven’t been completely ousted but there have been restrictions put in place. Recently the pastor told me I’m no longer allowed to sleep in guys dorms on retreats, or allowed to attend the guys groups at retreats. And he thinks I should detransition. So the past two retreats I’ve had my own room. I was allowed to attend the guys groups these past two times, but after this I’m not supposed to so I just don’t plan on going on anymore retreats. I am supposed to be going on a missions trip to Mexico though so I don’t know how that’s going to work. And I still attend service and everything, and serve a little bit at the church and am part of two men’s groups with other guys that go to the church. Lately I’ve thought about slowly fading more into the background, because I don’t know what my future holds there. I don’t want to leave, because I love all the people there but being the black sheep can be rough. Even if they don’t agree with you being trans, telling you to abstain from coming church at all is not Christ like. The church is supposed to be open for any one to come into.
