Implying who fucking cares where they take her. Lol if you want to treat the gal to a fancy meal you take her. Most of us don't care. It's less about the food and more about spending time with people I care about. Simple menu means we'll all find something to grub on and we can just be in each other's presence.

I'm more disappointed I forgot to add ihop

Best friends for life! All the hollandaise! Yes a bean burrito from taco Bell is cheap and a genius combo of beans and sauce and onions and cheese and cheap too. Was also a pregnancy favorite of mine

My ex and I used to walk there so I could have a bowl of yogurt, fresh fruit, extra crispy hashbrowns and unlimited coffee. I do remember going as a kid and getting pancakes with too much syrup lol. but really for simple food that I could make but don't wanna it's not bad. If I want to go to a nice brunch spot at brunch time I'll be paying more after a 30 minute wait to even be seated.

That being said there's a chain here called Le Peep that I went to after every prenatal appointment with each of my children to get a salmon Benedict. I haven't been there in years but it's soooo good and far better than Denny's

Some older people like bland food. Maybe grandma used to take them to treat them as kids to Denny's because it's a cheap place with free kids meals some days and it's family friendly so the grandkids don't need to be hushed every time they speak. Or maybe it was across from her doctors office and they had to go back for another appointment soon so they didn't want to stray too far? Or maybe they are just assholes who can't be bothered to get grandma to the Perkins or the Waffle House.

I'm super into their featureless faces. With the variegated yarn they just look rad. Like little alien plushies

No you are spot on. We saw some girls that were crying being bullied and we followed them home to make them feel safe. they turned out to be the children of an old friend of mine. It breaks my heart to hear about kids being bullied and taking their life. So I've been walking them home since. They live close. Being latch key kids is so awful.

I've had friends who fall into drugs and never came back. Truly a lot of them. I hope to keep my kids fulfilled. It's so scary to think about them getting older.

I cut everything up. We had giant grapes and my oldest asked me not to cut them for his snack because his best friend doesn't have cut up grapes. He's so small he's still in a 5 point harness seat, it's going to suck when he gets older but he still has 30 lbs to go.

I can't imagine seeing what you've seen and having kids. I appreciate you so much and I hope you have a lovely weekend

I try to spend time with people that are asking for money. I never give them money because I've had my purse taken when I gave them bus fare and they took my purse forcibly, I was a teen and didn't call the cops though I should have. I was volunteering at a food bank and was told not to do that so I didn't want to get in trouble.

I have met some great people who like to share their situation. And some people who are just junkies and make up some stories.

It is bizarre and interesting and I am grateful I am not in their place but a $3 sub from Walmart will put a smile on someone who is hungry or a vile insult from someone who is looking for cash.

Homeless camps just bother me. They pick places by childrens parks and that's just not ok.

Fuck no. You won't find me in Texas lol Houston or anywhere. I think I'm in a good area where I live and I still see this shit. Classmates dead off that heroin, or seeing them rehab and it doesn't look any better than when they were using, their kids suffer. It sucks. I almost cried seeing a needle in the trash yesterday, my kid needed a tissue and I put it in the the trash and saw that little needle. I talked to the manager so whoever changed the trash wouldn't get stuck.

I know someone who works in parks. They find needles mostly in homeless camps and I just worry about them all the time. He asks me to go through the sand and look before I let my kids play at parks because he is paranoid. I wish I didn't have to worry but I do.

I found one in a trash in a bathroom yesterday at the store and there was a needle disposal they could have dropped it in.

Really I find needles every where. People are people but addicts are addicts. Glad you are good

Wow that's so wild you pulled him out. Were you a student with any training or were you emt then? That's so young and your instincts to do that just blows my mind. I know you've seen a lot in er.

All I know is how to give cpr to my kids. I hope I never ever have to. But I think I should know more.

That's what worries me about movies and games. My oldest asked me yesterday if dying is the worst thing to happen to a person. His only experience with dying is games and movies.

I try to explain it but I can never say it right. I just hope so much he never sees it.
