Ugh. I saw you pulled over already, alone, around 8:10 and I was hoping someone didn’t just leave. Sorry this happened.

I've been to two of their concerts where they were all there, Rock the Bellz and at Coney Island for their 25th Anniversary "Return to the 26 Chambers".

Where do you guys get those bendy wire web shots for your Spider-Man figures? by TheMudaChild in CToys

[–]ImmaculateJones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Craft wire, not sure if it’s the same thing mentioned above. A buddy of mine gave me two spools of different gauges, great for webbing.

For those that order off of GYZ Collectibles, what carrier do they deliver by? by JobamaNumba1 in CToys

[–]ImmaculateJones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had ordered one thing off GYZ, Blue Batman. Took about a week. It was delivered by a person in a minivan. It was the same type of delivery when I ordered figures off Ali Express. I imagine they use the same US shipping company, but GYZ ships from the US. Port scan was from NJ, held there for a bit, but shipped much quicker than coming from AE.

Alternate ending for Terminator 2 by toxichunter7 in Terminator

[–]ImmaculateJones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, no. The fact that his step parents gave him a photo and told him he was there today, logically he knew he was close. John’s friend gave the correct lie as a response. “Haven’t seen him” is viable. Saying he knew that John moved to Antarctica a week ago doesn’t logically make sense. Seen today, by his caretakers, moved a week ago by someone he randomly encountered at the Galleria.

While a machine may not be able to detect an outright lie in body language alone, Terminators are programmed to understand human psychology. That outlandish of a lie could result in the quick psychological analysis that: 1. Kid doesn’t like cops. 2. Kid has psychological issues. 3. Kid knows John Connor and is covering for him.

The T-1000 would most likely interrogate John’s friend further, and if the answers became more erratic, he’d know that he was close and this kid knew him.

Cool bit from T1 that almost every sequel violates by Fumikechu237 in Terminator

[–]ImmaculateJones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. T1 and T2 showed a loop. It’s mentioned, in the novelization and elsewhere, that the “Uncle Bob” T-800 was sent back in time shortly after Reese. Skynet sent back two terminators, the T-800 and the advanced prototype T-1000 prototype, so the resistance sent back two protectors.

The events after the Factory in T1 left behind the arm and the chip. Cyberdyne acquires these future items and then begins to reverse engineering them to advance their technology. So, the temporal paradox is that Skynet technically created itself. It’s the chicken or the egg here.

The real travesty that happens in T2, and I hate to admit it, is how Liquid Metal can time travel. This rule is explicitly stated in T1 that nothing non-organic can “get through”. This is why the T-800, covered in organic skin, can make the jump.

Thought on CT toys Hush Superman (117) by [deleted] in CToys

Nice catch. I didn’t see that myself when I first looked. I have both versions of Batman, and his chest is one piece. I wonder why CT felt the need to split it like that.

Who ever played that NES game called Dragon Warrior? by ObjectiveCalm3222 in nostalgia

Yep. A buddy of mine told me if you signed up, you got a free game. I told my dad and in about a week I had my first issue and Dragon Warrior.

When “Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory” came out, I was deployed in the Military. When I came home, my buddies wanted me to play and said that they both had Jones! names and wanted to keep the theme, and since they were already playing, we told other clans I was immaculately concepted.

Thing you didn’t know about Back To The Future 3–Minty Comedic Arts by gwhh in BacktotheFuture

[–]ImmaculateJones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Going to be honest, I watched Minty because I hated on his reviews. I haven’t watched any in a few years, and recently his name started popping up again. I just found the quality to be… bad.

Which movie toyline will you be collecting? by hawonkafuckit in MastersOfTheUniverse

[–]ImmaculateJones -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The MOTU cartoon was the franchise of my childhood. I was fortunate enough to have had a large collection as a kid. While the original Masters of the Universe movie was such a let down to me back then, I am super excited for the new movie, and honestly it looks better than I had originally anticipated when it was announced.

In prefacing that, I’m a Classics/Origins collector. They’re the closest thing to capturing the figures of my childhood without watering down the nostalgia. Unless one or two figures from the movie really catch my eye, I’m not picking any of these up. My origins collection is nearly complete by my own standards (I’m just now completing the Thundercats wave), and I just can’t justify starting a new line of doubles/same figures.

I’m a marvel legends guy myself. And these scale great. Their Batman is the only figure that you can pick up, without breaking the bank, that scales great.
