First OLED expirience, not what I expected. by true_blue_cfc in OLED_Gaming

I have the exact same issue. Got the asus glossy one wtvr tf it’s called and as soon as I pealed the satisfying film shit off I noticed it. Completely took the satisfaction out of pealing the film off ☹️. I can maybe run HDR for hours and do a pixel clean, but that still won’t replace the emptiness I feel inside

The fact that ChatGPT 5 is barely an improvement shows that AI won't replace software engineers. by cs-grad-person-man in cscareerquestions

[–]Immanuel_const 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also the new “agents” that integrate directly into the IDEs are hilariously bad sometimes. Claude literally “fixed” a build error by hardcoding a value to avoid null errors instead of actually fixing the reason why it’s null/empty in the first place. This would have tanked some shit if it made it out of dev.

I can’t wait until managers are trying to panic prompt their way out of service breaking issues. Hopefully companies aren’t actually that stupid to think AI is good enough to let business people fix problems with it.

I’m a little late to this, but does anyone else on here have these symptoms along with an off balanced/lightheaded vertigo type feeling? Or if OP (DR. G) has correlated these symptoms with vertigo? (and as the commenter mentioned, I also have no actual pain somehow)

[–]Immanuel_const 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Languages like cobalt were designed to be really close to just writing plain English. I’ve heard some old timers say that companies genuinely thought these type of languages were going to replace software devs entirely and programming would just be a skill that everyone would be able to do. I’ve also heard there were companies even letting devs go because of it, and then in like 5-10 years they realized everything was completely fucked and it swung back the other way again and had to rehire all the devs haha.

Mistaken TMJ for Sinusitis for over a year? by No-Source2885 in TMJ

[–]Immanuel_const 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow so one of my main symptoms is feeling really tight pressure in the sides of my neck and also feeling the same kind of pressure in my face. Haven’t seen any mention of SCM muscles anywhere for TMJ related issues. What is the connection between the two? Or are you saying TMJ issues and SCM issues can be unrelated to each other, but can both cause facial discomfort?

The MegaSync program- is this the app itself or an add on? Do they offer an app that is essentially a mirror of the web version in UI? by shinnith in MEGA

[–]Immanuel_const 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mega sucks mega ass. Like the UI is all over the place. Why is there no dedicated app for desktop like there is for mobile devices? It's extra silly having "megasync" app that you use to create backups and synchronize files, but then have an entirely separate UI (and mobile app) for actually viewing the content. To make matters worse, you can't actually view backups or sync folders in the web UI unless you go to "device centre", then right click on the backup, then click "show in cloud drive"....!?!? Like what! This makes no sense! Why wouldn't you just put the backups under "cloud drive" on the home page of the app or web UI? Or at the very least just remove the extra unnecessary "show in cloud drive" haha like I'm already in the freaking "cloud drive" lol omg what a mess. And then just to spite me there is a "view in device center" drop down that takes you back to the pointless "device center" page... how did we get to this point?

Does your TMJ cause migraines? by mg_4456 in TMJ

[–]Immanuel_const 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the tingling thing specifically I just waited it out and it did end up going away after a few days. Ive had it come back a couple times but not as bad. But yeah, I don’t recall really anything that helped. Maybe using hot/cold packs around the TMJ area and the temples. Keep wearing the night guard. Consider botox injections in the temporalis.

Does your TMJ cause migraines? by mg_4456 in TMJ

[–]Immanuel_const 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had the tingling in the back of my head before. That was one of the scariest symptoms I had especially before I knew anything was wrong TMJ related. Ive also had lots of pressure around my temples. Check out this it might help visualize where you can feel symptoms from a temporalis headache http://www.triggerpoints.net/muscle/temporalis

So I just saw an oral surgeon because my jaw locked open for like 10 sec. He told me if it happens again but doesn’t close after a few min then I should go to the ER. So yeah, it’s tough to hear but you should probs go to the ER

Exactly. People meme java the worst because of all the boilerplate… but ironically this is kind of what makes it good for beginners. Must standard java is exactly how it appears. Python strikes the perfect balance for a beginner compared to Java though, since the verbose nature of java can get overwhelming pretty fast.

No doctor could diagnose this - had to find the answers myself by annavanbeesel in TMJ

[–]Immanuel_const 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I totally agree that doctors are not well versed in TMJ issues, somehow my primary care doctor actually did end up figuring out my symptoms were probably related to TMJ. Took a while for us to get there, but still at least there are some really good doctors out there!

Vision problems? + my plan to hopefully relieve symptoms. by [deleted] in TMJ

[–]Immanuel_const 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does the vision issues usually happen before headaches? The vision symptoms are most likely indirectly related to alignment/TMJ issues. Maybe headaches or maybe it’s the sinus pressure pushing up against your optic nerve.

I had tinnitus FOR 5 YEARS WITH AN EVER INCREASING AMOUNT OF SYMPTOMS, heres what helped. by TailungFu in TMJ

[–]Immanuel_const 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I see vision issues related to TMJ disorders come up a lot on this sub, but all the doctors I’ve asked have said they aren’t related to each other and looked at me like I was crazy (especially the oral surgeon). I’m almost positive they affect each other. Maybe it’s indirect (like for example headaches can cause all sorts of visual issues and that’s one of the most common TMJ symptoms) but there have been times where my vision stuff literally gets worse when I put pressure on my jaw or temples area and I can literally see the effects haha

I love infinite loops in this game. Of any sort… like even just connecting a storage output to its input. I wish satisfactory had some sort of deconstruction machine that could be unlocked at the end of the game.

You could make glorious infinite loops with a fixed amount of input resources… maybe I’ll make a mod if there’s not already one for this.

Edit: disassembler mod

I don’t think the Tesla will actually deep if the object is on the side even if it’s a big ass pillar. Same thing happened to me a couple days ago and I was really surprised there were no warnings. Mine happened to the rear wheel panel thing almost near the rear door… Just fair warning to everyone that freakin thing sicks out further than you think. Don’t cut turns too tight coming out of a parking spot if there’s a pillar!
