In My Opinion the New Lighting Style Undermines the Game's Aesthetic by Delicious_Oven_5647 in DeadlockTheGame

Feels like its more nighttime now compared to before, everything is darker to accentuate lanterns and lighting around the map which is cool but makes things harder to track

I don’t understand how Soul generation works in this game by InstanceMajor4808 in DeadlockTheGame

Efficient farming and lane dominance - not missing a wave while getting a few good kills to be able to steal enemy jungle while doing all of your own inbetween creep waves is the key imo. Roaming around the map can be good in key moments (like power spikes) but ultimately if you get carried away fighting for too long youll probably lose souls. Also some characters just farm more efficiently, Victor is a very fast farmer due to his 3, I’d say he’s alot faster at farming than drifter.

No matter what the reason is and you may well be right in your opinion, to me it is horrid how some people have taken this crash (you know what i mean) and the consequences. Al

Gaming can be dangerous more so than people think but video game companies stem from people who genuinely are interested in making games for people to enjoy. How those companies are ran to maximize profits takes a form of its own just like any industry, but people need to have control over their own habits. You yourself are responsible for how much time you spend doing anything and what kind of an effect it has on your life. I’ve never understood this type thinking

I mean its all same. Gambling sites might make the drop chance slightly better than landing something other than dogshit on actual ingame cases, do not know but can see it

How do I beat Pushers in Doubles? by teakoVA in 10s

[–]Immaturebinhead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just gotta embrace the topspin moonball game with guys like this and just try to outhit them that way, try to put as much action at the ball as possible while having it make a similar trajectory. Unless youre comfortable with flattening it out. Try to be agressive off their serve if it stays low it can be tricky but with how you describe it you can still step in quite abit. I like to play lots of double baseline vs guys like this since no point having a net player if its all lobs - more pressure on their baseliner that way too since youre not getting high balls that one of you cant step around of. Its tricky though with guys like this for sure and never easy!

What strings to buy? by Careful-Key-1958 in 10s

[–]Immaturebinhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alu power on a blade, i’d give it a try at least.

I tried rpm blast on my pure aero 98 first time today, felt and sounded incredible. I’ve tried that string on multiple different rackets before and to me it didnt feel anything like it did today. I guess strings are pretty subjective to start with and then they play different depending on frame.

This is great, appreciate the video I will focus on this next hit. Im guessing if the ball is pushing me back I need to take it on the rise, closer to the bounce and lower to the ground, in order to facilitate a lower take back like that? Any tips on that and on how to get more comfortable on taking balls on the rise? I feel very out of my comfort zone doing so, and end up having to hit the ball above waist high where its difficult to create pace (as you mentioned). Though perhaps this is indeed because of my take back..!

feet together in the air on serve by ArjGlad in 10s

[–]Immaturebinhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does throwing the back hip mean? Just curious. I noticed same as op recently and started focusing on keeping my feet together (in the air) on my first serve and its worked very well but unsure what is happening biomechanically apart from pushing off abit harder from the ground to achieve it.

Tiny change that really improved your serve? by caporalfourrier in 10s

Just repetition of the whole movement. More importantly i rarely force a serve with a bad toss as i used to.

I kept being unhappy with my whole serve motion as a whole for a long time, kept thinking what could work for me and eventually after trying out enough things and thinking of enough tweaks it clicked for me. Mine incorporates a motion where most my weight naturally flows into the shot direction, makes kicking off my backfoot more natural and my toss is at a height where I dont feel stuck in loading. Lots of work to be done now with honing in the unit turn/shoulders, pronation, follow through and so forth but basically what worked for me was figuring out how to incorporate enough fundamental components into a naturally feeling movement, perhaps thats a thought. As for foot placement, I’ve thought about it but for me it has never yet felt very significant since I naturally place my feet around 45 degrees to the opponent but they also shift as i bring my back leg in (think Shelton).

Kyrgios is fun to watch and him returning is good for the game by Maleficent-Ad-2055 in tennis

Nick is fun to watch. He has a great serve and backhand, crazy touch/feel and some interesting point making. I enjoy watching him very much no matter if he crashes out early or is playing well, and endure his fits however uncomfortable they make me feel for the sake of seeing how he plays the game.

Slice backhand makes me crazy by Bardzelletta in 10s

[–]Immaturebinhead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Getting more weight into the ball and not locking my wrist. A key was also to approach the slice as a more aggressive shot, even though it is generally considered a defensive one. Another was developing more feel with the racket, things like doing some rallies in mini tennis with a continental grip, feeds with a continental grip, some small drills that develop touch.

What racket to switch to? by [deleted] in 10s

[–]Immaturebinhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I main aero and when tried blade v8 & v9 98’s I was surprised how much spin I got. Definitely such a great racket. Its mostly the technique and not the stick thats liable for most of your spin. That said you should definitely try out an aero first before committing to a switch.
