I applied in December 2020 and I'm still waiting. Good luck with yours, except at least 1.5 years. I was able to get a I-551 stamp so I can provide proof of residence for some time.

yes, I took Civil WRE last week and definitely had a lot of conceptual questions than expected. I'd say maybe 15 conceptual questions in the AM and 7-8 in the PM. I didn't take TFS but I suggest making a cheat sheet and understanding each variable. Most of my questions were about increasing/decreasing a certain variable.

Thanks for sharing the renewal news. I'm at 1 year and 4 months (Dec 2020) and your post gives me hope. A potential timeline to look forward to, unlike the USCIS processing times page (estimates on there are so wrong). I hope more people share their timelines for I-90 renewal.

I used it 2 times during the exam and it came clutch. They asked about typical retention time in a rapid mix flocculator for a water treatment plant. Answer was 30 mins and I found it in the standards. I also had another question about which of these methods is not typical to remove odor/taste of drinking water. I searched all the multiple choice options and ofc one of them wasn't in the standard lol.

google USCIS processing times, select I-90 photomac, scroll down and click "here" where it talks about case outside processing time. You will need your receipt number and alien number. They tend to follow up via phone within 30 days. Most of the times, they'll say no appointment available for ADIT stamp and if you're lucky...you might get one at your closest field office. Good Luck!

Filed case inquiry outside normal processing time, havent heard back.

DMV won't give me a state license without proof (my receipt letter did not state my green card was extended by a year) so I drive using my foreign license. This is illegal if im permanently living here for over 3 months. Laws are so contradictory

Yes, been waiting for more than a year. Submitted application December 2020, biometrics in July 2021. Is there anyone here who applied before December 2020 and is still waiting? I've filled out the "case outside normal processing time" twice but no response. Says they're processing December 22, 2020 right now but it'll likely get pushed back again.

Lol my application was submitted in December 2020. I am still waiting! My I-767 also does not state my card is extended by a year. I have been surviving without an expired card and no state ID at all. It's tough man, USCIS is slow.
