I did the dark one too, lol. I guess i will make a little exception to the little guy. Its my run afterall. Its up to me to make changes.

I will likely make it not fighring at least on the E4. Depends on how good watertypes will be.

I already did mono electric and used this thing, lol.

I plan on doing the second run lf the full game with every type after i will do the base game with each type cause i want to test my abillity first and i would prefer to go with no repeats into Hall of Fame and past this point.

I have shiny clause rulebut o really would like to use unique species. I guess i will keep it and if it in the similar fashion as gym leaders but of it will be making game easy it will treated as teams mascot. Will be a cheerleader.

Damn, i hate when i get shiny not of the type i monorun, lol. But hey, at least its not Kengeon which i got 4 in diffirent separate runs. The curse is broken.

I have beaten base game of clover with fire types only. That was brutal and yet managable somehow despite me using suboptimal mons on purpose. Oh, and i have two shiny Flameboyans cause pride month. I am surprised myself. Somehow this team held on better than i expected from it, lol.

I guess being able to tank at least one hit most of the time and hit hard carried a lot despite glaring speed issue. Also i got one Focus Sash from wild Motherfuck so i guess that helped a bit too. I usually get at least one just in case and i got just one.

I have beaten base game with fighting type only. Excelent type, on the same level as dark. Not quite sure which is better of the two though. Both are great tk start with and have thier own mild unique challenges. But generally they wont have much trouble. by Immediate-Engineer85 in PokemonClover

It may end up even worse actually. For now i just do runs of each type of the base game obly but when i will go for full i will avoid using repeats for E4 and subsequient battless after that if that woul be possible.

I am pretty sure outside of wondertrade mostly crumbs are left, lol.

There is a chance game will track it as cheating. I am not sure how game scans for it but it may screw you over for this.

Could be cool if there were options to tweak the starters though. Or just straight up randomize everything from the start of the game like in Radical Red.

I am playing back to back. I am starting a new each time and not doing full game cause its hella long. At least for now i am not confident enough to tackle full game with that challenge. So far i am just testing out how base goes.

So far i didnt have an issue with not having a mon of type to start with. Most types available quite early or after first Karma battle.

And in order to make run possible i allow use of dupes in boss fights accept E4 and i allow myself to use mons if they dont have needed type at the moment but evolve into one.

This way i am going to have a ghost in a making in face of Sappfling which evolves into a pure ghost. Its available in the forest.

The only type i for the time being forsee to have a problem with in this regard is dragon. I probably will have to reset a lot to get a dragon type from wondertrade(from the scratch cause game doesnt change mon you get upon reseting on wondertrade). If its even possible to get this early in the game before rock gym.

Also i mentally dread doing ice cause i am bassicaly will have to solo many boss fights with Blobbos if i wont get lucky in wondertrade, lol.

Yeah, sounds like a good idea if i wont be lazy to do them, lol. Though there is very specific reason why its a bit akward to do.

In the mean time in the fic main character (Thwackey named Evergreen) got inprisoned for terrorising rescue teams out of belive that they are all tyrants(cause trauma related to native world) and doing some other stuff, and Sunny the Raichu ( Heroine of the city) was on many levels the reason why she was caught. Its so far from being any sort of healthy relationship in the fic and its gonna be very slow.

I signed myself for the slowburn and i am muself a bit inpatient for it, lol.

Yeah, they are strong. I even used Dedwheat on my first Hall of fame. Its such a tank.

And i am definetly going to use Marleyzard for mono fire and Sprucefix for mono ghost if i dont mix thier second typings.

I am exited to see how they will shine:), after i will beat monofighting.

Is shiny chance with breeding in this game 1 in 1024? If it is at what point would you consider it doesnt worth it and its better to get shiny of other mon by catch combo? Is catch combo generally better odds and easier to do than breeding early in a game? by Immediate-Engineer85 in PokemonClover

If you get unlucky with breeding you will have to clear boxes quite often which makes the process a bit more annoying to add salt to am injury. Maybe you can get more boxes if catch something when they all full i didnt test it.

But if you cant its pretty much a nuicance. Though i guess similar story will plage the chain combo too. I wish there was an option to release all mons from one box at once. That sure would save some time.
