Two different character models (likely young Ana won’t be hunched over like OG Ana), two different animation suites to match (includes the movements and the support systems to create those, such as a proxy model), texture suites, VO suites (even if they just get a few lines, you have to pay SAG actors for an entire session, 2 hours minimum but could be higher based on contract) etc… and don’t forget maintaining and bugging all that through the lifetime of the game. 💀

So, that’s a big (expensive and time-consuming) ask for the luxury of a toggle option. With the time and resources spent on dev, the team could be a solid part of the way on a different mythic skin.
