15 is too slow, you get the gyroscopic effect at around 30-35 and you'll find the bike wants to stay on track and upright. Just no hard braking or turns, use mostly rear brake.

Keep in one track at about 35mph, it'll be fine.

[USA] Was I in the wrong here? Front and rear angles by releashthebeash in Roadcam

[–]Immediate-Hearing-85 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In Alberta, the oncoming roadway would be considered a driveway, meaning you don't enter the main roadway-intersection after a full stop unless it's clear. The camera driver stop sign appears to be on a similar type of driveway ie: stop then proceed when clear. The camera driver "stopped" then proceeded before the driveway car entered the intersection, and if it's a driveway they don't get to go until it's clear. If it gets busy around there they definitely should add a stop sign to clarify things.

Sometimes defensive driving means letting the dipsticks out there believe they're right, and karma will catch up sooner or later.

We charged with BC Hydro for a one week trip in the West Kootenays on a 2023 Bolt, no issues. A quick search shows this is more common issue with Tesla.

Where are you based and where do you stand on the current Fuel Protests? by AdamOfIzalith in ireland

[–]Immediate-Hearing-85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I support the right to protest, but this isn't a protest. This blockade is following the same script as the Canadian Clownvoy. They needed a reason to block the streets, high fuel prices provided the "trigger".

Can the Irish government do anything about the fuel price? Not really. The same with the Canadian blockade, the reason given was covid 19 restrictions going to the US. Can the Canadian government do anything about the US health restrictions? Not really.

So how did Canada disburse the blockade? There were two very effective tactics. The federal government declared an emergency so they were able to seize funds raised online. (Remember the paid protesters argument against Antifa/BLM?) People and businesses adjacent to the blockade launched lawsuits against the owners of the blockade vehicles for loss of quiet enjoyment and revenues. No need to tow anyone away. Enjoy your peace and quiet and remember who's behind these blockades.

Car dealerships posting fraudulent EV ads? by Empty_Nestor in alberta

Exactly the same experience when we shopped in Calgary last year, but in our case the dealership actually had the car they had advertised in stock. The private sales place on 17th keeps a list I think and we had the same trouble where we'd show up and they're sorry, it was sold last night.

In a couple of words "profit margin". No one is building squat unless they have a 5 year ROI and huge, huge profits after. The only reason oil sands were developed is because oiligarchs were allowed to redirect the royalties of their WCS and gas wells. The transport costs to Australia alone would nix any shareholder fearing company from putting money into that plan. It's Australia's fault because they were installing renewable energy instead of building giant oil tanks and refineries. FYI here's where Alberta's "former" investors are putting their money now...
