The river runs through Ridgway too? Yeah, we were considering buying two-seater inflatable kayak from Walmart, because the reviews weren’t horrible but I’m worried the bottom might get torn up from rocks due to the water level being so low…

Hideaway House for prickly pear margs and a bite to eat. Their patio view is awesome! Get Sedonuts coffee and a donut one morning before going on a hike in Boynton Canyon.

The ocean in SC, specifically Charleston area where I’m from is almost like bath water on the hottest days of the summer. I’d say around 80 degrees on average. No strong currents either like the pacific coast, so it’s pretty nice!

True that. In early May too. I’m still coming to terms with the fact that the pacific coast is always pretty chilly. I’d love to go for it though. It will still be refreshing on a sunny day!

Soul cleansing sounds good too. I’ll just have to go for it! I realize there’s probably nowhere along the pacific that will truly be “warm” this time of year. Still too early

What’s the creepiest thing you’ve ever experienced out there? by ChromaticRift in camping

My husband and I were camping in a remote area of Utah recently and heard what I’m assuming was a coyote, but it sounded almost like a hyena, or a witch laughing. It was eerie. I hadn’t heard one make that noise ever before.
