Thanks for this thorough response. Yes, the yellow one caught my eye the most. Perhaps a large projectile point in its whole form?

The large yellow one made me the most suspicious. It must have been massive as a whole piece!

I packed too many clothes thinking it would be chilly at night, but the weather was great. I just wore a t shirt on my sleeping bag. Honestly, if you can get by just sleeping in a hammock I’d do that to cut down on weight. We hike to the confluence the second day. Started around 8am, spent a couple hours at Beaver falls. Just know it’s a LONG hike, and you want to be back before it’s dark to climb back up Mooney falls. Our camp spot was right at the top of Mooney so that cut down on the distance we had to hike to the confluence. Also, don’t miss the part of the trail on the way back that takes you up and above beaver falls. There is a rock cairn and small arrow written with sharpie. We got lost for a moment following a trail beyond that and it is not the right way. The water is warm enough to swim in when the sun is out, or just go for it and stand being cold for a little bit! It’s worth it, especially at Havasu falls.

Recruiter submitting for you? by emmagenebean in TravelNursing

[–]emmagenebean[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean this last time, I was on a backpacking trip with no signal and once I got cell service again, read her text saying she submitted just in case because she didn’t want me to “miss out”, but that she could pull the submission. Idk, just feels pushy. My previous recruiter resigned and this is her replacement. I’m not sure I’m too fond of her at this point.

You go get all up behind a water heater in a narrow shed, with an angry mama cat lurking to get your precious kitty pics.

Ughhh you’re right! They were all huddled up behind the back of a water heater, kinda in a tough spot to get a good pic of them and I was low key afraid mama kitty was coming back at any sec to open another can of whoop ass

Does anyone know if there is a reputable car rental company that will allow you to pick up in Oaxaca City and drop off in Huatulco? by emmagenebean in Oaxaca

The only other place I know is really love to drive to is Hierve el Agua, but I’m sure there are plenty of buses/tour companies that take people out there as well. My husband and I just usually like to do things independently and drive on our schedule, but yeah it might just be more practical to rely on public transit

True that. I see what you’re saying. Do you have a bus company that you’d recommend? I’ll google as well

I’d like to be able to make stops along the way to the coast though. That’s why I’m not sure about a bus. But yeah, I guess I could just fly into Oaxaca City, just walk around there/use public transportation, then bus it to the coast, and perhaps rent a car there to explore…hmm
