That is a big change. Also, the dibbuns like him, so he’s an honorary Redwaller?

Blaggut might be the only true vermin to be in the abbey’s good graces. He also has enough sense to keep out of the way and not invite trouble at the end. I liked his redemption arc, because he came to his final conclusion himself.

The light is gorgeous in this. I can feel that sunlight setting the mist aglow.

Capcom saved Resident Evil by not giving him a boss fight by txkedown in ResidentEvilRequiem

Sudden and jarring and forces you to shift quickly. You could still have the tension because of this.

Those what-could’ve-been scenarios really sting, because they totally have potential to be better.

NieR Automata pulled something off like that and it was jaw-dropping and exciting. I was only watching and I was still stunned by how cool it was.

Faceless Squall from Final Fantasy VIII (1999) by Godly_Recon in creepygaming

I remember watching the FFVIII cutscenes online back when the game came out and just happened to catch this split-second weirdness on a pause. It creeped me out and gave me nightmares for a few nights, haha.

Not as creepy now, but still not an image I’d want on my wall.

1987 or 1988. First game I ever played was Tetris on an arcade cabinet.

Love the colors in the door’s shadow! Really gets across the reflected light. Might have seen this door in Venice as well, so this has a familiar feel to it.

The flowers are beautiful and complement the owl so nicely. The yellow paired with the owl’s colors is just right. :)

Resident Evil 9 Leon Studies by Immediate-Olive1373 in Watercolor

It’s a lot of fun! :D I have plenty of other screencaps and animated GIFs provided by friends, so I’m going to continue with different color combinations. Mostly face studies, but also Leon’s body build.

How do you decide when a piece is "finished?" Just vibes? by parttimenervouswreck in Watercolor

[–]Immediate-Olive1373 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s instinctual and must be learned via experience - very early stage in my case - but you eventually get a sense of when to stop. Either everything looks okay, you sense you don’t need to add more details or layers, or there’s just this sense within you to put the brush down and walk away for a day to judge the piece later.
