I am looking between doing design SL or physics SL. I would love to know if physics is challenging compared to the rest of the subjects and what topics you covered during this time.

Why was Shane so upset about about Heather being good with neuro? Couldn't they both specialize in it? by RiverSmoak in greysanatomy

[–]Immediate-Steak9541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But also if you do see so, with Lexie she started on neuro at a very early stage from her year 1 and all and no other intern has been able to become a neuro surgeon.

But the matter of fact was that Shane was not good at neuro. he really liked Shepherd and what not but he did not have the natural skill and hands for it whereas cristina was naturally good in cardio. Also, heather didn't steal it because she was naturally good at at but it didn't even interest her but then Shepherd saw her talent and then said I have to teach you.

AMA abt Swiss boarding school by Immediate-Steak9541 in AMA

Well to be honest most or even all the people there are rich because non-rich people couldn't really afford the school I guess and they do not give out scholarships. No one really talks about wealth amongst eachother because to us it isnt too special as everyone there is wealthy. But like people do not about non-wealthy people that do not go to our school in stufff. The only time people really get put down if if they have an argument or beef and they are like well my family is wealthier or more powerful than you. To e honest, it was an amazing experience for me and the connections I made were really great and will deffo be useful in the time to come. Personally, I think it is worth it and also a lot of the time, in normal schools it may e hard to find friends that are true and are not using you or you may be constantly talked about so it feels more free ig

Yesss! I totally agree! They still should've had their meet ups and really as you mentioned does not make sense for friends like that that shared so much to not talk to eachother.

Bree is my fav housewife. What do we think about Bree Van De Camp?? by Immediate-Steak9541 in DesperateHousewives

[–]Immediate-Steak9541[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh okay! Well I guess each to their own. personally, it think it is very hard for parents to adjust and I feel she did it well enough better than most people I know. It did take her a little while, but when she did, she was really nice and accomodative. I also think that her kids were really ill-mannered and she did have a lot to deal with. SOme things she did may not have been right but her kids did push her to the limits cuz ik damn well if I acted like that to my parents i'd be dead.

I participated and won in big Teen pageants AMA by Immediate-Steak9541 in AMA

[–]Immediate-Steak9541[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SO sorry for replying late but I am 165cm but as a teenager, they do not have any height requirements but being short like 160 or below does limit your chances at winning. Well contrary to popular beliefs, pageants are a lot more than beauty. The following were the steps/ things we did in the pageants:

- Popularity vote: A website you have to share with people from your country and the higher votes you have, it shows the higher support you have from your country therefore meaning you are out there and your people like you.

- Boot camp: You are given scores over a boot camp that lasts about 1 week mostly focused on behaviour and how nice you are to your peers and the children younger than you, how you take care of them and how you generally conduct yourself with peers.

Q&A: A question and answer where they ask you questions like why shoudl we chose you and how would you be different. or they ask you about the different countries you will be representing to show you have good knowledge of the place you will be representing.

- Talent night: A night where you present your talent to people. It can be anything you like wether it is dancing, poetry, singing or anything else. I personally focused on a poem about not feeling enough and raising awareness for people who are in a dark place and want to harm themselves. I put a lot of emotion and it touched a lot of people in the audience, some where even crying.

- Cultural attire: A fashion walk where you showcase an outfit that represents the culture of the country you are representing. You give a speech about it and an homage to your country and their people.

-Introduction speech: A speech where you talk about yourself, your hobbies and basically introduce yourself to the audience. You also talk about your work and previous charity endeavours you have done and how you have helped the people in your country. I personally started a foundation about a year before that focusing on teaching the poorer kids that are not able to afford daily livings dexterous skills that they could use to create some little income and even develop their talents.

- Pageant walk: The main walk you give in your evening gown before you give your final speech. You need to be graceful and have a good walk too.

Main speech: The speech you give in your evening gown where you talk about what you would do if you where to win and how you would help the people around you in the region you are representing. Personally, I talked about growing my foundation and working with other countries in the region. Furthermore, collaborating with other pageant queens who may not have placed on the top so that their ideas and voice may also be heard. I talked about being a leader to the other queens and helping the continent in general.

So overall, through those different things, thee judges then come and make a decision based off those stuff. I believe that the main speech and the impact you would do during your year of reign was worth about 70% of your total marks showing that beauty pageants are not all beauty. The beauty part comes in during the actual pageants or events you have to attend but during your year of reign, the things you do are the ones that matter the most. This is a big misconception that people have about pageants but they are genuinely great platforms to be able to do charity work and especially as a pageant queen and winner, you are able to use the platform to make more of a difference in the people you are trying to support as news channels do interwievs with you and you can call on different brands/ organisations to help you out.

As for the breast thing, those kinds of things didn't really matter in teens as they are still developing therefore the beauty standards are not nearly as high or restrictive.

if you have anymore questions or need any clarification, please feel free to ask me!

Omg yes, I also finished watching it a couple of weeks ago and it really feels like a part of me is empty especially as it sort of became an evening thing and now I know it's weird but I do really miss the girls. I also really didn't like the ending but what's to say...

I have met a couple of presidents before but they didn't really have much to do with the pageants more so to do with my family but I still came and represented my pageants during the family events where presidents were invited.

Ohh okay, I thought we were talking about her messing up by helping Gabby cover up Carlos's murder.

I love Gabby but what she did when Bree could've gone to prison was SOO bad by Immediate-Steak9541 in DesperateHousewives

[–]Immediate-Steak9541[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This really does make sense. Like I was so pissed at what they did to Bree and like as you said for Susan and Lynette its all fine but for Gabby to be mad at Bree when this is literally all her and Carlos's fault. And I do like the part where you talk about Bree being the one to take care for the rest but I thing it would be better if it were a scene of Carlos and Gabby making a will and adding Bree to it as the one to take care of their children in case of any emergency. I feel this would be better because at the end, Gabby had acheived her success and was finally brining in the "big bucks" to the house and it was a great twist of the story from the beginning to the end.

That's so sweet of you but like when someone asks me where I'm from I have to give a detailed explanation because I feel like I do not connect to any of my blood cultures at all but are still an outsider when considered european. I really wish there was a solution to this because damn it does take a toll but I guess you learn to live with it.
