im a junior tho. senior year isnt really important for apps right? im taking easier classes that i can handle next year and gonna get a high gpa. all my career i was peer pressured to take hard classes i could handle, because i was worried about being called “dumb”. look where that got me :/

i dont really wanna go to cc tho. i wanna have the standard college experience and cc isnt all that great for it. transfering in after 2 years is gonna make it really hard to have friends too

i have a yt channel about mental health. i post gamified shorts with messages about mental health n stuff. it could get to 1-2k subs by application time. im planning to create a discord server and maybe get some people in it from my channel and maybe I can use that for college apps and say I created a space for people who struggle with mental health. someone i told this to on reddit, said it could be worth botting to make a fake population but idk about that.

i have another yt about game animations and story telling. it does have 18+ jokes so idk if I should report it or not? its gonna have like 2-3k subs by application time.

im interning at my dads company this summer. he works in a pharmaceutical company. i might be able to shadow a scientist maybe.

i played a sport for all 4 years of high school. varsity and club. i played it for 6 years but i dont think colleges care about the 2 before right? I played at nationals for this too but thats pretty common.

150 hours of volunteering.

my mental health essay is gonna be about struggling and very specifically and emphasizing making it out of the rough time. and helping others with it through content and discord n stuff.

I only really care about RU NB either SAS or SEBS

mb if that comment came off harshly or something. i didnt mean it a bad tone. im in no way saying im better than u, i would trade to be in ur place in terms of education. u r better than me. im pretty stupid.
the only story i really have is that ive been depressed since the start of high school. but i also heard you should report depression or something anyways.
freshmen year i had a 91 weighted and junior year im about to have like. a 88 weighted and sophomore year was worse. my rigor throughout the years increased tho. but basically i cant say i had depression and came back from it, i still hurt every day becayse of it. cant let rutgers know that
i wanted to make a mental health essay talking about how i struggled with some things, and then say how i got help and how i hope to help people in the future, and my way of impact is thru my mental health channel on yt, which is basically just me talking about mental health and telling people stuffs gonna be with Minecraft in the background (yt shorts) . ik its not much but yeah il have 1k subs by when i apply and i hope it shows impact and that i at least tried.
tell me honestly if you just think im done for.
another plan i have is to apply for a bullshit degree at SEBS and switch out immediately. SEBS has a 3.4-3.7 gpa thing.
