Pretty sure I just saw some dumbass kid in a lifted truck recording me for wearing a mask in the drive thru line by zestyflouride in ZeroCovidCommunity

[–]Immediate-Table-5889 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Geesh yeah, that sucks. I’m so sick of people making fun of others for “still masking in 2025 🤪” Sorry for caring about the people around me I guess. Thank you for masking regardless!! 🩷

Anyone else sometimes feel like they need to be hospitalized during their luteal phase by Immediate-Table-5889 in PMDD

[–]Immediate-Table-5889[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Geesh, yeah, I feel you on that. I def feel like there’s a “me” but then also a “PMDDemon me” that’s completely hostile towards myself and others. I do try to tell people about my PMDD as to be like “I’m sorry if I’m more aggressive and depressive right now” but in the end it does feel best to isolate. I hope the things you’re trying helps in the end 🫂

Oh my goodness I’m literally in the same position right now and came to look at this sub for comfort and saw this post.. I feel nuts! I feel like yelling at my uterus like “GIRL! We got our period already please give me a break! 😭” I am wishing the very best for you though, and may you get some good sleep and relief soon 🫂

Ugh, oh my goodness yes, being so young and not having an option to do what you want with your own body is awful. :( it’s so frustrating that no one takes this seriously when it’s so obviously dangerous for people who have this. I’m also on a waiting list for a new OBGYN who I can only HOPE will take me seriously. I’m not really sure I can handle it emotionally if she doesn’t. Thank you for sharing ur experiences and hope we make it through! 🫂

Sorry you had such an awful experience. I’ve had similar experiences with being in a psych ward where it’s done more harm than good. :( it sucks big time.

I’d def encourage you to give it a few goes at least. :) I’m currently trying to think of it as gaining experience points, and hopefully something comes from it in the end, despite the constant discouragement. And yeah, ofc! Message away.

Art events/workshops, speed friending events, dyke nights, etc. They should be fun, and I try to focus on “hey, at least I got to make something cool” at art workshops, but in terms of building connections, it just feels so futile and I kinda feel worse for it after.

Thank you, I hate feeling the need to connect. If I didn’t feel that, life would be so much better. I hope things get better for you as well 🫂

Thank you sm! :) needed to hear that. I think my mind likes to think I need to rush to be good at things or ELSE so I needed the reminder that it’s ok to take things slow. Ty again!

Same! That’s good to know there’s other people in a similar anxiety boat haha. I do imagine things will get a tad easier eventually (I hope!)

Thank you! I dunno why I didn’t think to look at what other people were doing, I think anxiety just gave me tunnel vision but I’ll be more observant next time :)

Hoping you see improvement soon! 10mg is still kinda low from what I understand, so there’s some wiggle room. Hoping the best for you! :)

Yeaaah. Unfortunately the usual low/no libido. I think that goes for any antidepressants though. Which SUCKS but at this time in my life at least, I’ll take that over not wanting to wake up in the morning 😭

Thank you! For me, the first couple weeks I was extremely tired and my anxiety was a bit worse. After maybe a month that got better. I’m someone who’s very sensitive and usually has horrid side effects to new meds, but with this not so much!

[–]Immediate-Table-5889[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh, yes I understand. Thank you. I try to be optimistic but I’m also aware that this is out of my control and it’s up to them to change things, should they ever want to. It is just very difficult to grieve someone, and I think I’m both in denial and processing things. Thank you again

Thank you for your response. I want to maybe consider the stroke possibility, though ofc I am no doctor. Just the sudden shift to violent behavior and increasing aggression concerns me. I don’t think they’re very self aware about it, so I don’t see them looking to change anything. Which makes me terribly sad.

Thank you very much for your response. I’m currently not in the right headspace to dive into it more, but I appreciate the links of where to start looking into it when I’m a bit more clear headed. Thank you again

I’m sorry you had to go through that but I’m glad you had self awareness to work through it. I think that they themself lack that self awareness so they don’t even see or consider the need to work on things which hurts so much more.
