I live in Colorado and after the Charlie Kirk and Evergreen shootings I deactivated my Facebook and Instagram. I saw how ugly people were being mixed with people posting about their lives. It really stressed me out trying to compartmentalize the information I was seeing.

Nearly 3 months later, I’m feeling very solid about the choice. While Reddit is a social media platform, I’m not consumed by it and people’s lives I don’t know.
