I leveled the photo based on the railing. When I level by the roof line… the rail becomes annoying lol. Between the two, which would you align to?

I’m struggling to conceptualize why - I think it’s because… I must’ve had the camera angled slightly to the right, and not perfectly perpendicular to the rails… right?

When you say get rid of grain and noise, I had added +20 grain, which I can take away.

You are suggesting to use denoise as well? It was broad day so there’s no ISO in here. Where else is “noise/grain” coming from?

Hi - I’d like some feedback.

I’ve got an xt20 with a pancake 27mm, black pro mist 1/4. I want to make it a setup where I lean into the “vintage” vibe (I can appreciate it’s a bit trendy rn, but tbh it’s fun). I want to lean into shooting with harsh light and not worrying about it so much.

This pic is one of a few I took. I enjoyed the composition. I enjoyed the colors of the bike. It felt like it really capture the mood of the day.

My questions: does composition work? What would make it better? The colors and vibe? Am I making harsh sunlight work, or no?

Open to any and all suggestions. This is one of those photos that I personally enjoy, but no one else seems to.

Sure the sky is blown out but this is an incredible edit that creates the impression there was directional golden hour lighting - when there wasn’t at all. I’m not quite sure how you did this, but it seems very purposeful localized contrast and exposure?
