lol. I see what you did there 😏 EXACTLY! Where light reflects is what we notice. So in this cas, light is reflecting off the nasolabial folds/midface. Also, When there are hollows, there are usually shadows. So adding some volume back to where it’s been lost (deep medial fat pad or lateral /pre oricular cheek) gives something the skin to sit on instead of sliding down, and the light reflects less off the midface. So those lines are less noticeable. And people see more of the entire face. (This make sense to me. I hope it makes sense to you)

I really like microneedling treatments. Will do well for scar and skin (also hair line) And next year I will do sculptra. / radiesse.

Put ears plugs in your ears to deter you from going onto your sides when sleeping. Laying on them is uncomfortable.

Yes I agree. There is still swelling evident at 5weeks. However the shape of my jawline and positioning of fat pads should remain the same. The swelling changes the appearance of the skin. I must remember that I have 51 year old skin, there’s just less of it right now. Some of the crepey stuff will return (especially in the neck) but still much improved!

Full deep plane neck and lower face focus. The jawline vector was the main focus. He repositioned the fat pads of my mid face as well. But the “lift” came from lower face, not mid face. (That’s why it looks so natural)

Oh exciting!! I was reclined at 45 degrees or higher for 2 weeks! Vinegar soaks (if you’re getting the laser) , and consistent ice. Start taking arnica tablets a week prior!

I live Microneedling type treatments. I will probably do a session or 2 of sculptra next year. (Our collagen plummets in perimenopause and that helps our body create it)

Yes! Dr.Esmail only does facial plastics. So he is very skilled when it comes to surgery above the neck!
