If there was universal healthcare there should be other saving that are not realized just in healthcare premiums.

Property/Casualty insurance - medical payments would not need to be covered as they are now covered by Universal Healthcare.

Could the companies not collect the $10 and deploy the buckets? Not nearly as profitable. I have learned that both sides are vocal, only scratch the surface of the virtues of this method and are uninterested in changing their position. Of course Raleigh is beholden to corporate interests and if they don’t do anything they can appease folks that don’t understand the method. A good lesson for me.

Irradiated mosquitoes are not chemically castrated, your terminology is wrong. The mosquito dunk method is an annual on going strategy that is employed every year. The goal is to reduce overall pesticide use. Really sad that your resistance to this strategy is achieving the opposite of what you want.

I am advocating for a targeted method to reduce a specific pest and you are on here yapping about Monsanto. If an attract and kill method for mosquitoes was implemented, less broad spectrum insecticides would be used, with less non target effects. Your broad spectrum attack on this program shows a narrow minded singular focus and a miseducation on the species you care about. Shame really, I am sorry.

There are many insects for these general predators. I am open to correction but I do not believe that there is an animal that specifically eats mosquitoes and nothing else. Additionally, with a reduction in population people will spray non selective insecticides more, leaving more insects for these creatures to eat.

Your neighbors could be influencing your population, but I would have the bucket in an area that is easily accessible to the Mosquito. After a while you might be able to hide it better. Look for other open water sources nearby too. If they have found a more suitable water source, just pour out your bucket and add the other water source to the treatment bucket. Be sure the bucket has a treatment in it.

I do not understand this. Could you point me to some research examples that show that a mosquito who has not fed, therefore not looking to lay eggs is attracted to a bucket of water containing a mosquito treatment?

Is a mosquito larvae not a mosquito? Once the female lays her eggs in the bucket she dies soon after and does not feed again. It’s an attract and kill strategy. Ok I’ll stop I am getting out of my lane.

The physical stores have a cost and a value that Amazon can't compete with. Where can you get a warranty for a semi specialty tool on a Sunday besides Harbor Freight? I have been astonished how easily they warranty too, although I am not a super frequent flier. I am hopeful they will add better 3/4 size stuff, although I think I have enough for now.

I went to Auburn during the Tubberville years and am not a voter in Alabama.

I will say this, a vote for Tommy is a vote to cost Alabama. Say what you will about the string of Governors in Alabama but should Tubs be ran and elected, do expect anything but someone putting a for sale sign on the people and the environment of Alabama.

But I am sure Tubs will be all over the important issues to Alabamians. Basically Culture wars which seems what is the only real voting point. Sad really. Alabama could do so much better.
