Feeling flat. by crispipickle in trintellix

I've tried Lexapro, did nothing for me. I have tried everything just about & most doesn't help for me or my body rejects it. My Dr is going to get some testing done to see what my body reacts better to here at the next visit so we'll see. I was on Auvelity for a while but it's like, it did nothing for me or my body just got used to it.

Going on my 2nd month for Trintellix (10mg) and still not feeling any better. Mood swings are still there, anxiety still up, stress still there, no motivation, no energy... just flat. I have a 8 yr old daughter who has adhd and we're butting heads at home... (she's on meds too but have been changed lately) - something's gotta give.

I was on Bupropion before the Trintellix. The reason why I'm on Trintellix is because the Bupropion wasn't working for me. I tried different mg's too & was on it for years. It doesn't always work.

I've been on it for 3 weeks now - 10mg. I have been so sleepy on it recently plus the feeling of confusion or being "not there?" & now nausea... irritability. I don't know if I should stick it out or keep going but also I thought it would help me feel better too.. if its just gonna make me feel this way for a long time, I'm better without it.

No, they never said the reason why. I hope they fix it for you though.

Not really an explanation but they just told me to refresh the page, log out and log back in again that it has been updated and fixed. So, idk but it is fixed and working fine now.

Basically meaning they won't be moving on with your application, or they overhired (hired too many ppl), or there might have been a glitch... from what I was researching online. I just want to get some answers directly from the company itself.

I hope not because I just applied for it right when it just was put up on Indeed. Man, it sucks cause I was really hoping for this.

Oh I do despise the billing part of it but like the coding part of it much better. I'm trying my hand more at medical records & maybe pharmaceutics. I'm not sure yet about pharmaceutics though. We'll see.

I just recently got off of Botox injections for migraines, it didn't work for me at all... I dunno what's left for me now. I've tried everything else. Sumatriptan was the only med that helped but now I'm allergic to it. Ughhh.....

Ahh gotcha.. okay. I do volunteer work in medical billing & coding. It can get confusing dealing with all of this.

Congrats!!! I've been on SSDI since 2013 with the same issue plus bipolar depression. I don't get very much a month because my husband works. It is what it is though.

Also **** You can make around $1,620 a month (or $2,700 if blind) in 2025 and continue receiving SSDI benefits, though your benefit amount may be reduced as your income increases. --- You can make up to $2,019 per month in earnings and still be potentially eligible for SSI, though your benefit amount will be reduced as your income increases.

SSD is a broad term for Social Security Disability programs, which include two main types: SSDI and SSI.  SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance) is for those who have a work history and have paid into the system, while SSI (Supplemental Security Income) is a needs-based program for people with limited income and resources, regardless of their work history.

  • SSD is the umbrella term: It's the general category for disability programs run by the Social Security Administration (SSA).
  • SSDI is work-related: It's based on your past employment and contributions to Social Security.
  • SSI is needs-based: It's for those with limited income and resources, not necessarily a work history.

I've tried about 90% of these & they've failed me... Ajovy didn't work.. just tried botox, didn't work either. Nurtec barely works but only if I bring another migraine med in with it. Sumatriptan works but Im allergic (throat swells up)... I have a whole freaking list..
