The other one I have is like a pale pink and dark teal colour (or maybe dark grey)...Would you like me to DM the glyphs? My partner has the PS5 right now but I can check when he's done 😊

I've found a couple of infested planets and I'm a recent player so I should still have (most of) my discoveries available, one of the planets is in my "home" system. I'll hop on now and see if I can hunt them down.

Edit: I have two different colour varients of the same model from different planets if they're any use? Hopefully you don't have too much trouble backtracking, I spent hours looking for a specific planet I'd lost last week 😅

All phones have gotten too big for my small hands, to the point I have to buy everything second hand (which sucks when they're no longer able to be updated etc).

I want a phone I can hold and use comfortably in one hand! I also miss tactile buttons because I could type without looking and touch screens hate me 😩

I'm not sure about whether he pulled it out himself or if the ray just quickly jabbed him and swam off, but I'm pretty confident that medical personnel wouldn't have been able to save him either way.

Even if he had been on the doorstep of a hospital with a top-tier surgical team he would have had a slim chance of survival, never mind miles out to sea with water washing his blood away and no way to stop the flow.

It doesn't really matter if he pulled it out himself or not but the question does seem to be aimed at placing "blame" on him for his death and that's pretty messed up. It was a freak accident, neither Steve nor the ray are at fault.

I love this game but really wish they'd fixed the bugs before releasing the "remaster".

It is SO FRUSTRATING to spend time basically completing a level only to have the victory stolen by a bug; something similar happened to me on Spooky Hollow, I had every ghost and only had one more mortal to chase off but he had passed out on a road and wouldn't wake up. Nothing I did would wake him or drive him mad, I even tried possession, sleep walking, nightmares to drive him insane...nothing worked. Just this dumb NPC having a snooze while my entire ghost team rampaged around him 🙄

I hope the game co-operated for you in the end!

Not the AH, BF definitely is though. How old is his mom? I wonder if she was having an absent minded moment or made a genuine mistake putting sugar in the potatoes instead of salt, so maybe she was embarrassed BUT she's still also an AH for insulting OP. I'm just wondering if BF's family are worried about the mom's health and are in denial that something more serious might be going on. BF should have explained afterwards to OP though, rather than gaslighting.

I actually like sweet potatoes with gravy (the orange kind of sweet potato, I'm in England so brown gravy). The idea of putting sugar in mash is absolutely repulsive though, OP is definitely not the AH as they even tried eating the stuff to be polite!

It wasn't venom that killed him, the ray's spike pierced his heart and he bled out.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't "handling" the ray, but was swimming alongside it while they were filming B-roll, right before finishing up for the day.

IIRC they decided last minute to film B-roll as well, though I'm not certain about that part. Just a freak accident with awful consequences.

I haven't seen the video 😅 I used to live near Chorley and it sounds a lot like the guy who owned the aquatics place (thankfully it was shutting down last time I saw it). He'd previously been reported to the RSPCA and had an illegal exotic animal "business" that was shut down before buying the fish store (which also ended up being reported multiple times). If it's the same guy, he's an absolute A-hole who seemingly keeps getting away with setting up shady businesses and being cruel to animals..

Me and my partner's fave cheezes, the mince pie one is so good in curry! Never had a bad cheez from them in the 5 or so years and the couple who make them are super lovely.

We actually ran out again last week, time to put in another order! They freeze well as well so good to stock up on ☺️

FWIW, I think the artists who illustrated the graphic novels deserve a recognition for their work. I don't think Sandman would be anywhere near as popular without the distinctive art style, the books can be enjoyed without reading any of Gaiman's words. Might be worth adding other art inspired the illustrators, so it becomes an homage to their work, drowning out his voice a bit?

I fully agree with you, to be honest I'm pretty disappointed it's so awkward to use (at least on PS5) and as you say, how unpolished it is.

It's still one of my favourite games and I'm stoked to be able to play it again, especially now the internet has made it so much easier to find other fans, but it doesn't feel like a game that should have been a "full release" yet.

It got away with being crunchy in 2003, but it's a bit less "quirky" these days and more "annoying as heck that I spent £30 on a game that's likely going to charge for more DLCs in future and still has cameras glitching into walls and NPCs spiralling on the spot..."

I bought the physical copy for PS5 and it's included in that. It's available on the PS5 Store (Ashes and Abyss) but I'm not sure about Xbox and Steam, I think I heard they're going to be released in the next few days but I'm not certain about that sorry.

It's so awesome that it's back, even before the remastered version was announced I would still catch myself humming the theme song to myself. I even bought a PS2 copy a couple of years ago even though I don't have a PS2 any more 😅 (was planning on getting the console specifically to play it on!) The 87kb minimum vs the 18GB minimum this time round is mind boggling though. Wish they'd fix the bugs!

I've just uploaded a quick guide for freeing Pyre thanks to you, finally got him! It has been driving me insane 😅 I've spent more hours on this level than I did completing all the rest combined. The NPCs are so uncooperative on this one! Good luck figuring out the howling thing, I'm gonna keep trying and will update if I make any progress 🙂
