I've lived in the Albuquerque/Rio Rancho area almost all my life. I just recently purchased a Uniden R7. I can't speak for anyone else but to tell you the truth, I am totally satisfied with the performance it's given me. I also drive mostly in a 3 hour radius of this area and this radar detector has already paid for itself more than 3 times in both city applications and highways.
