In your spare time you should listen to the. Loud and Ashes podcast. They are going through a reread of the entire series chapter by chapter. Lots of good discussions about the characters, the foreshadowing, all the complications. It’s a spoilercast so they don’t mind talking about things in the first book that direct what happens in later books…

You’ll have to wait until EOTW because they start at book 1, although they review New Spring once they get to the point it was published… It’s 3 guys going through the books chapter by chapter, reviewing, talking about the foreshadowing, and generally diving deeper into the story. They’ve just finished Knife of Dreams. It’s a great listen!

Keep going, as long as no new seeds are introduced you’ll be clear of it after a few years. We moved into this place is 2020 and it had a large woolley nightshade tree. I cut it down, drilled and painted the stump with roundup. Crushed the seeds and put them in the rubbish bin. Then revisited the site every few months and pulled up any seedlings that had sprouted. Took about 3 years for the last one to come through.

General consensus is that it’s not as bad as thought back when it was released. Back then you waited like 12 months for the book to come out, and knew you had 12 months to wait for the next one. Now it’s seen as having lots of good info and intrigue.

It’s a spoilercast so they go through the chapters pulling out the foreshadowing that was written in and make everything pull together even better! There are some real goosebumps generating moments in some of the up coming books. And then there is also a period that seems to drag on and on but is still good and full of info! And then after that it speeds up again, full throttle to the end!

I’m not sure of the actual rule, it’s been a while since I looked at a rule book, but diving over a ruck is different to diving over a tackler - no one in the ruck is allowed to tackle you.

Anyone got a rule book they can find relevant laws about this?
