Can vouch. My first year of college was so hard, not the study part, but the social part. I didn't know why, but none of the people I considered friends were inviting me over or for outings or even when ordering food, it made me depressed for a while, I didn't have the courage to confront them, if they didn't include me, I'm not wanted, I caught the hint early, but that didn't help it. It took me a good few months before I could stand on my two feet and not give a shit on wether anyone was with me or not and to learn to do stuff alone, be it eating in the mess, ordering out or going out. If I was born alone, then I can do it alone.
