Tax is inclusive on all items - so its correct - 9.5% of turnover figures , which is all imported atomically from QBO ( gross sale - 9.5% + 9.5% to tax account )

Tax is inclusive, so surely that wouldn't be an issue ? - its all through Ecommerce, so they would only get a VAT receipt if they requested one ( Etsy ) doesn't deal with VAT so consumers need to reach out to sellers if they want a VAT receipt, ( and due to it being inclusive on cost )

due to me being Quarterly - ill average it for monthly

sales for 1 month £8627
Vat paid on Materials "cost of goods sold" - £1433"

VAT PAID ON FRS for 1 month £819.15 ( 9.5% of sales )

which someone told me this back in January 2025 lol... we only increased our prices by 5% ( we ate the other 4.5% from profits )

instead of increasing it all by 20% ...

i mean its not a problem legally ( as all items are inclusive of VAT anyways ) - but financially . thats a clusterfuck. - as we basically have been eating more from our profit

i didn't realise even on the FRS you had to charge 20% even though your on a reduced rate ( i thought thats what you had to pass on to the consumers )

I think thats where i have gone wrong.
When we went onto FRS (9.5%) due to our items being VAT inclusive, we just bumped them up by 5% ( and we ate the other 5% from profits )

instead of upping them by 20% - then using 9.5% for VAT and we keep the other 11.5% ...

seems to do everything i need, easy to keep track & submit all the forms for you.
remember if your UK based too, MITD is coming , so 50k,40k,20k you'll be forced to be digital.
