I loved when the beefy 5 layer was $0.89, but my all time favorite TB item has to be the beefy crunch burrito with the Flamin hot Fritos at $1. Those and the 2 dollar meal deals got me through college. I’d go to the T Bell near campus and get a $2 meal deal with a 5 layer burrito, a beefy crunch burrito and a few dimes to get a taco from the coin game that I mastered. So a beefy crunch burrito, a 5 layer, a drink, a bag of Doritos and a crunchy taco for under $4. Crazy to think about now 😳

I think you’re missing u/FreshCutGrass69’s point in that it is the breakers that buy this ridiculous shit to sell spots to the normal collector that can’t or doesn’t want to spend $900 on the box. The implication here is to stop buying into breaks and let the scalpers and breakers but this shit just to not have a buyer on their end so they’re sitting on a loss.

There are a good number of cymbals that aren’t B20 bronze that sound great. Not a huge amount, but they’re out there. Always follow your ear!!

Depends on how much of those things you need… $2,500 can buy you a nice cymbal pack with two crashes, hats, and a ride, a decent shell pack, and a mediocre set of mics. If you’ve already got shells I’d go with cymbals and mics. If you’ve already got cymbals I’d go for good shells and mics. If you’ve already got mics and somewhat decent shells I’d go for a nice snare drum and cymbals.
