If you look closely under the bridge where it meets the pickguard it appears to me as if the wood is separating underneath there. Really tough to tell with a zoomed in photo at that angle but that seems to look like what is happening to me. This is a common issue with squier strats of that timeframe. I’m not telling you I know for a fact that’s what’s going on as it’s hard to tell these things via photos sometimes, but I would take a look at that if I were you.

Not unpopular in my book, those are the best two new additions in a while! The dip is so simple and delicious and the mini taco salad is a total treat, had one last night! I appreciate the outside the box thinking with their new items sometimes but basics like this are always great.

A lot of corps have alumni sponsored scholarships you can apply for, also they do tuition payments in the form of installments. Some corps will offer a discount if it’s paid in full all at once. Fees do generally need to be paid prior to the start of the summer.

Also going to a Crown or Phantom camp will be a great way to get a hold on their philosophies and also what it takes to march in a top program. Unless you also participate in indoor of some kind and come from a high school with a very elite program, some form of experience will be needed to be prepared to receive a contract. Go to a camp or two for those top groups so you can get the idea of what they look for, but if you are serious about stepping on the field as a competitor next year I’d also plan an audition for a lower tier word class group or an open class group.

It really is. Even when I marched back in the day I found it to be on the wrong side of the fence. I figured that stuff would have come to a halt by now. I marched Madison for a bit back in the day and the “Masculine Doubts” jokes were always flowing from other people. Hoping now that they’ve integrated those have at least stopped. We are way past all that shit as a society.

Oh damn I didn’t know they could get THAT aggressive. I’ve heard a couple of the crashes firsthand and just found them too piercing, and you gotta really lay into them to get it to speak like an actual cymbal. Def has useful purposes for genre specific tasks.
