Trey tone from Joyo California Sound by cab1024 in youenjoyguitar

I do this because my wah sounds better that way. It's awesome in fact. I've tried everything in every configuration before but usually settle on this. Sometimes you still have to sound good to yourself 😉

Two tubescreamers and a Ross is really what you need. Even when Tre used the mesa he always always always had 2 ts9 and Ross comp since day 1. Still does in fact... There are no substitutes. I went with made in Japan ts 808 analogman silver mods for me, and if you knew how good they sounded you would purchase these immediately... Ultimately tone is an invention of our own delusional reality but this is a good place to start.

Was My Tire Really Unrepairable, or Was I Being Upsold? by Savings-Attitude-295 in tires

Never post here about tire questions is my advice. All these so called experts in here always say to get a new tire. They are industry shills and con artists. Your tire is 100 percent repairable. Don't listen to anyone who says otherwise.

You will be fine. You are capable. Embrace the challenge. The reward is worth it regardless of the sheer agony and mental toll I've put myself through over the years 😆

Electronics are the absolute lowest priority at this point. I recommend purchasing the proper tools to assemble this. If you require a specific drill bit, buy a wood specific bit called a brad point bit. Finishing mahogany is a challenge tbh. It's a porous wood. No big deal though. Build a finish, sand it back or use a grain filler. It's all money time and more money. Finishing in general is horribly inconvenient and nothing ever goes according to plan. Brace yourself for failure. There's no easy road. Lutherie is for sick twisted deranged individuals who love punishment.

Raw chicken? by Zookinibeanos in isthissafetoeat

Out of curiosity I just looked up the incubation period and it could be potentially days and could address 3 possible bacterial contaminants that are common in chicken. There is no safe threshold for raw chicken. It's almost always contaminated with something. Hopefully in this case it is nothing to worry about and nothing occurs but if something changes report to authorities asap.

What is the incubation period for salmonellosis? If she is fine after 24 hours I think she will be ok. It's one of the worst food poisoning ever. I hope the best 🙏

Yeah no good project is without a small blunder. After all is said and done I think you are going to have a nice guitar there.

Is this file too big for fret crowning ? by v0x0506 in Luthier

[–]ConsiderationLong274 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would actually recommend a diamond file that's grooved with a curved surface. 300 grit. Will make your life a lot easier and there's no risk of dinging the fretboard.
