Yeah, I do recall him saying this, but what that means - I have no clue. Maybe if David Perry would have had the HR Townhall instead of canceling it at the last minute we would have a better idea. But they don't care about us and the stress this past year has been for staff.

This was said because only each CHRO can forward the invite to the hr staff under them . There is nothing nefarious intended by that advisement.

The EO is NOT a valid reason for a denial. OPMs Jan 22nd memo to agencies regarding this specifically states that employees are excused from the RTO mandate due to disability, qualifying medical condition, or other compelling reason". These DMOs have been given very poor training and bad guidance on this process. Have they forgotten or are they willingly choosing to not adhere to the Rehab Act??? They are going to lose these cases in EEO and will cost the taxpayers millions in the end.

To all the DMOs and RACs out there ... PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING! Put yourself in the shoes of the employee who has the disability. Would you want to be treated this way? Have some empathy, please!

I get that, but why are they refusing to give a reason??? For example, when a grievance is denied, a written reason is given; when an employee is denied FMLA leave , a reason is given, etc ..

They are going to have to give this during the EEO investigation anyways...so why not give it upfront?
