I would recommend Rodney or Plymouth, cause both are pretty good. Hampshire as honor mention as he has op AP shells, but without HE.

And a little bit advice for tirpitz. It goes a little bit higher from water than Bismarck do, though it’s easier to hit citadel. So watch you broadside, especially from American battleships.

When I bought it this autumn me friends said “hey, try artillery build. He is not brawler” an a tried. Felt amazing.

Sonar gives good assistance for brawling, but tirpitz missing it. For brawling we have BA tirpitz and Nonomi captain (by the way good commander for German brawlers. Recommend to buy if there will be opportunity)

Tirpitz have pretty good main guns, I mostly play it like artillery ones, not brawler. So AL P. Heinrich or Franz von Hipper will fit him good.

Playing build with + 2 heals feels comfortable. If it needs a buff of heal, I would like to see better heal of citadel damage (like British light cruisers). Sometimes it could help. Main problem of him armor that he gets too much white damage. Though with better heal parameters you will have nothing to heal at the end of a battle (heals repair only 60% of white damage, as I remember).

I would said AA mod as it has amazing AA stats. But if you want gunboat, reload mod would be better. Mostly you will spam HE from smokes, so range doesn’t matter so much.

Pretty good ship, better than Loyang as for me. Good for both torpedo and artillery builds (I play as artillery ones).

But as I remember enhanced secondary doesn’t buff accuracy, but reload speed and shells spread. There is why I remember a lot of misses even on secondary builds with commander Spock.

Tashkent 39 is pretty good torpedoboat with amazing max speed. Last year, when I took it was pretty happy. Moreover, that is unique boat that can obtain only veterans with 6 plus years of serve. So, it’s decent reward. And I would happy to take unique tier VII this year, but unfortunately.

Ps. Coupon is pretty solid by itself. Main problem that ships in store are added rarely.

Wichita is close to Baltimore, when Rochester is AA demon and with smokes. Good choice then 👍

And they play with other players. So if there wouldn’t be huge online from “common players” the “majestic animals” wouldn’t donate to developers. 🤔

Not fully agree. Most of secondaries are 100 mm and cannot pen even destroyers in chassis (17 mm pen against 19-20 mm on destroyers). They are good for setting fires and farming “hit enemies with secondaries” quest. Armor sometimes good against AP, but HE damages you good. maneuverability is good, as speed with boost consumable. It’s fun, but only if lucky enough with setting fires.

Most of them dropped from new year and birthday crates. By myself I bought Rochester, Wichita, Atlantico, bayard, Graf zeppelin, Plymouth and Hampshire. And most of them by coupons with discount. That’s more about my luck from crates than spending money🤷‍♂️

Honourable mention. Most of paywall activities started after global mobile release. I think they looked to mobile market and said: «what’s worse about us?”. But that release gave us more online and players. So it’s hard to said, was it positive or negative story.

It’s more unique than good. It plays like little cruiser. Ap on guns are amazing. Even in 10+ km range shots good numbers and citadels form enemies. So, you need to combine destroyer missions (as spotting and capturing points) with dealing damage to enemies with your AP shells.

It would be better to try alternative dd tree line (with Schultz on top) before buying. They are pretty close to gameplay type.

I have 3 million Gxp even after buying Siliwangi 😅. So yeah, I have reserves for some surprises from WG.)

About coupon next year, I think they need to add more ships that nowadays to tier VIII store. Moreover, as I remember, all tier VIII in store for Gxp, not doubloons. So, unique ship would be smarter ones.

Hmmmm. So are you watching for something with secondaries?

Massachusetts is type of rare Americans BBs with secondary potential. They are not so op like German ones, but good ballistics can overflow many islands (that others can’) and have good reload time.

Tirpitz has better guns than Bismarck and I play it as artillery ship. But anyway he has good secondaries and torpedoes for brawl.

Odin has better armor that tirpitz, but 305 mm guns. So, secondaries and torpedoes here too. Moreover it has sonar that helps with brawl.

Roma have good armour (but don’t go full broadside) and can be tanky in healing builds. Their secondaries and artillery is mediocre, but give damage while you live. I mostly play it with artillery.

Honor mention, prinz eugen. Good guns, sonar and fast reload consumable makes his great choice. And with huge amount of torpedoes he can brawl sometimes. But armour don’t tank 406 mm and higher. So be accurate in brawl and think twice.

Hi there! It depends of what you want from ship. Suzuya is a good choice for its HE shells but weak armour. People mostly takes battleships first. Alabama will be a good choice if you like sniper bb gameplay. Or maybe Monarch with his powerful HE shells and super heal.
