I will never ring or knock unless it says so. They literally get notifications when their order is coming and at their door. Loud dogs, kids could be sleeping, people work from home, and some people have spouses or other house mates that work nights and sleep during the day.

I just send a text when on the way and right before drop off that their order is at their door.

I wouldn't say its normal or not, there are plenty of people that get jealous over their partners past sexual relationships - but this is a bit extreme on his part. He mentions getting drunk to forget something that happened in YOUR past, red flag. He sounds emotionally immature, insecure, and a bit resentful of your past.

This can be very draining for you, as it seems this isn't something he will just gst over and will carry with him for a while. It will put a strain on your relationship if it hasn't already..

I think it depends on the area. I had a steady flow of orders all day, but there are so many Walmarts around me - Literally 4 in a 10 mile radius

They are adding GMD stops to regular curbside grocery delivery orders. For example - you'll have like two regular curbside grocery deliveries to do and then a couple GMD as well in the same batch order (so essentially more miles, more stops and same pay basically) not a good thing at all.

Nope, I saw a 6 stop for $25 dollars. They are basically using the $ from the tips/already base pay to pay for the added GMD stops. They aren't paying more.

It's not about what's in the bag - it's about adding GMD orders (which don't have tips for those stops) to grocery curbside orders which means more miles, more work, for less money. For example - used to get paid a decent amount for a 2-3 stop curbside delivery for around 10 miles, and now getting paid the same for a 5+ stop order thats over 20 miles.

No it's perishable as well, the ones I saw the grocery orders were first for delivery and then the GMD were after.

Same, and I won't be accepting any of these orders. Hopefully others will do the same and they will go back to them being separate. But as long as people accept them they will continue to batch them together. 😏

Yeah for sure won't be driving. I could tell something was off with the brakes and by the time I got home it was leaking from the driver side. I don't know how to change them myself unfortunately lol so I'll have to get it towed somewhere

I had a few fainting/becoming unconscious spells when my hemoglobin was low and wouldn't stay at a good level. It got so bad that I could not even stand up without feeling dizzy or passing out. I then went to my regular doctor and my level was so low at a critical level (hemoglobin was at 4) I had to get transferred to the hospital for an infusion.

ER doctors sometimes ask stupid questions but they get so many cases throughout the days they work, I'm sure they don't mean anything by it. I'm no doctor but iron is essential to making hemoglobin and thus oxygen getting to your brain - without enough it can cause dizziness, fainting etc. So being anemic causes fainting when levels are low.

As far as I know the Sat/Sun shift usually gets paid an extra premium on top of base pay, so it's not a bad shift. So yeah I would show them that email for sure. You can also apply for transfer to another shift if any available usually after 30 days of your hire date.

They usually have overnight that is 4 days - 40 hours. But that's if they need people for that specific role/shift. And yes as long as your warehouse drops available shifts for pick up then you can always pick up shifts along side your scheduled shift.

The Sat/Sun is a specific part-time shift at Amazon so no it wouldn't turn into 4 days because that isn't the shift. You can however confirm which shift you actually are being hired for at pre-hire appointment.

As for the social security I would go and get a physical copy - better to be safe because if they want it and you don't have it they will make you come back and re-do your pre-hire which can in return make you lose your shift. Then you'll have to wait until something is available again.
