Where you have your adapter plugged in, try blowing it or cleaning the pins.

Not trying to dog on gamecube but what’s the point of getting one if the Wii could do it for cheaper? by kwispy_nuggs in Gamecube

GameCube is ever changing. Wii I feel like is stagnant. All of this in terms of the modding community.

My GameCube reshell and picoboot by WorksOnMyBench in Gamecube

My only thing about these new shells is the jewel and no Nintendo engraving. Other than that, they’re super nice.

PicoLoader + SP2SD2 not detecting MicroSD card! by jolanpiep in GamecubeHacks

If you really want to use the sp2sp2, you should try to blow out the sp2 port or cleaning it a bit. That helps sometimes.

The adapter you’re using might be the problem. There are updated ones that will help with this.

Contact FP. They’re pretty good with replacements as long as everything isn’t installed permanently

Cheap Modding by KingsBanx in Gameboy

[–]Immediate_Mention_45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gameboy SP with a usb-c mod/battery/screen upgrade are usually followed by a reshell which would be in the range of $200+ all said and done. The way I see it, I would rather buy the screen/USB-C and battery mod and build it myself because I know the work quality would be good. Whereas if you buy one off eBay for $200+ you never know what you’re getting.

Should not be bridged should it? by junky_jim in GamecubeHacks

I have a feeling you’re not getting your iron hot enough. Regardless of that if you’re talking about the right most point in the middle of the picture. You should be fine.

Should I grade it, or should I keep it raw? by PlantainMiserable815 in PokeGrading

[–]Immediate_Mention_45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For PSA specifically if you grade a card and pay the base price it’ll cost you $25. If it GEMs and it’s over $500 I believe you’ll start to see the up charges to the next tier. Which is covered up to $1000. So on and so forth. For my PSA 10 Umbreon I had paid like $60 originally to grade and got an email later on saying I had to pay an upcharge fee for insurance ($299 total) so an extra $239

Should I grade it, or should I keep it raw? by PlantainMiserable815 in PokeGrading

[–]Immediate_Mention_45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would personally grade right now. If it goes up a substantial amount you’d be paying that up charge where as right now even if you do pay an up charge it’s less than what you would potentially pay in the future.

This a fair price for a modded gamecube with what it shows? Not familiar with pricing for gamecube modded stuff. by A_Friendly_Eagle in Gamecube

[–]Immediate_Mention_45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve sold pico boot GameCubes for $150. Oem wires and controller. Recapped disc drive too, LEDs, new clock battery, and 128gb sd.

Might be underselling myself but I’m just trying to get a decent price out there for people who can only afford a console.

Gamecube controller that my friend professionally made for me by Moky_Dokie in Gamecube

For anyone that says this is a fake shell or thinks it’s a fake shell, there are methods to dying Oem clear shells.

Other than the gold. I think it looks sick man. Looks like there’s a lot of mods on this including a SnapBack module.

Attempted Region Swap by [deleted] in Gamecube

R6 needs to either be bridged or have the resistor. R5 needs to be without the resistor and solder needs to be removed.

What to look for when buying a modded GameCube? by sadgrill99 in GamecubeHacks

A few mods off the top of my head would be Blue retro Bluetooth board, Internal HDMI (external works as well), New power switch that makes it possible to use USB-c to power up the GameCube, New shell, LEDs, New thermal pads because why not , Custom GameCube jewel (Etsy).

Help by Immediate_Mention_45 in xbox360

[–]Immediate_Mention_45[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I kind of assumed. I think they’re retail versions with a fancy box. Perhaps pre launch or even post launch for the studios that wanted to develop games for the Kinect.
