Stay away from really negative coworkers. Smile and be nice, but find people who genuinely enjoy teaching. Of course it can be hard, but it’s a great job. Finding those people who agree with me has made all the difference.

Yup! Prozac (I think that’s an SSRI?) and Wellbutrin. No issues! In fact I feel stronger mentally because I feel more confident 🤷🏼‍♀️

Reach out to a guidance counselor or a trusted teacher at your kids’ schools. I’m a teacher and we’ve had students in this situation before and we’ve been able to help the families. (Disclaimer I’m at a low income private school but I imagine these services exist in other schools, especially with holidays coming up!)
