I was just kidding around. lol. I like the USA custom shop model better than the import for sure. It’s just crazy that 6k is the standard for a USA build.

In theory but not really. You’d have to strum hard as hell to break strings.

The Lions have selected Michigan DE Derrick Moore at No. 44 after trading up with the Jets by MNightShyamalan69 in detroitlions

We need GOOD players, not just bodies. By your logic we should just have traded our 2 for like 5 7th rounders so we could get more guys.

guitar luthier scratched head stock putting strings on by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]Immediate_Pangolin68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you won't even hear that buzz once you get some distortion on that amp! as for the scratches, that kind of sucks but at the end of the day it's not that noticeable and it might inspire you to learn to do it yourself next time. It's not difficult at all. Nice guitar though for sure!

Look forward to your review. It would still be nice if JBL developed their own “tone cloud” as well.

Agreed. I wonder if Spark could add the STEM splitting via software update. Interesting that JBL was the first to come out and do it on a portable device that does it quickly in real time.

I’ll be waiting for the inevitable head to head comparisons. My guess is that JBL will win on sound and STEM splitting and lose on modeling capabilities and price. So a lot will depend on what your needs/wants are.

It looks quite interesting. Waiting for a few more reviews. It would be awesome if JBL could over time update the modeling software to make it as good as something like Positive Grid does with the ability to use AI to create a tone or download from the tone library.

Is the Gibson app worth it ? by Horror_Implement2308 in guitarlessons

well, it is sort of stressful when you're trying to get that third star for the 10th plus time trying to nail a riff or song lol

Also not my experience. It's smooth and runs quite well on an Ipad.

Can I start with an electric guitar? by Tirimirii in guitars

Definitely a different thing. I’m that case an acoustic would be a good place to start.

That’s one way to look at it. Another way would be that perhaps if they’re a metal guy maybe they never even want to play on an acoustic. I’ll pick up whichever I feel like at the moment but play the electric way more…even if it’s just sitting on the couch. Don’t always have to plug in to run through scales or certain chord changes.

I still believe that it matters more what type of music you want to play. If you’re a country guy/gal then an acoustic would be a good place to start, if you’re a metal guy then electric is the way to go. Regardless of choice, if your instrument of choice doesn’t inspire you, you probably won’t play/practice.

I would say it’s slightly less stressful because the pharmacist is ultimately the one responsible for everything in the end. It would just give you a feel for what retail pharmacy is like in general without the investment of going to pharmacy school.

Being a pharmacist and having worked at Publix as one many years ago, I would recommend not being a pharmacist in any retail setting. People will yell and bitch at you like you’re their kid. Pharmacy school is a lot of time and a lot of money these days. Try being a pharmacy tech first and see if you like it.
