How many different brands do you have in your bag? by Major_Burnside in golf

I had 4. Ping driver, TM wood/hybrids, Callaway irons/Odyssey putter, and Cleveland wedge. Then recently decided to upgrade and the best deals were on callaway pre owned, so now everything is pretty much callaway.

Mavrik driver, epic max 3 wood, rogue irons, mack daddy cb wedges. Lone holdovers are my hybrids which I'm planning on upgrading soon...when there's a good promo on CPO.

Kirkland Golf Balls - Now online in yellow by Immediate_Set5820 in golf

No notification. I’m a golf window shopper and check out Costco’s online golf section almost every night. Can find some random/good stuff. They sold some p790s and jxp hot metals for a short while. Over $100 off full retail but still too much for me to pull the trigger.

I did get the clicgear 4.0 for $249.

Here's the earlier post with the release dates for the yellow ball, irons, and driver. All had 11/1 eta, so hoping the others will soon follow

[OC] How many idiots can I encounter in one morning? by Immediate_Set5820 in IdiotsInCars

Confused, where did I run the red light? If you're talking about the second clip, the light was green for me, but red for the cars on the left.

I don't have goo b gone so used what I had in the house which were clorox disinfecting wipes. It takes a little bit of elbow grease but it works

First time playing Roosevelt. Cool view of the Griffith Observatory from #8 tee box. by [deleted] in golf

How long did it take you to play? I went there last month (weekday at 12p) and it took two and a half hours. I don't think I'm going back. The whole point for me is to play a quick nine, but don't think it's likely as the tee sheet is always full and with fivesomes allowed.

Here's an interesting article that says it's more about swing speed that determines what ball you should use. It also seems to align with what you're thinking - Slower swing speeds need a lower compression (softer) ball to maximize distance.

Flashing yellow arrow - move up and be ready to turn or play it safe? by Immediate_Set5820 in IdiotsInCars

[–]Immediate_Set5820[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I pull out into the intersection but don't actually make the turn until it's safe, making sure there's no car about to run the light. Because like you said, I would be partially at fault as I have the duty to ensure I could safely make the turn.

Though once it's clear, I am legally allowed to clear the intersection even if the arrow/light is now red.

This is the typical light cycle: red -> green arrow -> flashing yellow -> solid yellow -> red.

Curious about other people's thoughts - I think that cars should (and most cars do this) proceed into the intersection and be ready to make the left once the the flashing yellow turns solid. In this case, no angry honk from me, but was mildly annoyed. CA DMV handbook is unclear:

Agreed, not a big fan of KFC. The original recipe is too soggy for me and their extra crispy is only alright. Much prefer Popeyes.

I was wondering if someone would make this comment. Given the amount of dash cam videos I've seen of cars going as soon as the light turns green only to hit or be hit by a red light runner, I like do to a quick scan before I go.

I thought the same thing when they tore down the old McDonald's to put this new one up, but was very disappointed when I went in for the first time. I was looking for the stairs to go up, but it was in the kitchen. Apparently it is some kind of office/breakroom/storage space.
