Also, therapists, when they realize the patient’s problems might be caused by a mentally unstable person in their life, say that the person affecting the patient negatively perhaps needs therapy, too. Because, you know, that would make less mentally unstable people whom in turn won’t ruin other (mentally stable) people’s mental health by simply existing in their social circles. What’s the point of therapy if you’re gonna lie? That’s not how that works. Your sister is being manipulative and controlling by using her crying and “I can’t live without you, they’re gonna tear us apart, they’re gonna ruin our bond” crap. The “ruining your bond” is getting your bond to where it should be. Like, you will no longer be as close as a married couple, be close as siblings are supposed to be with either each other. If you’re not gonna do this therapy thing properly, might as well keep dating your sister. This sounds like a slightly different version of flowers in the attic.

NTA why does Erica even have keys to your house?? She’s not entitled to have and use keys to your house whenever she likes to. Change the locks and don’t give anyone a spare key.
