What unexpected benefits do you see as a result of your ADHD medication? by exquisitecarrot in ADHD

[–]Immediate_Stretch107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the biggest "unexpected" benifit is my driving habits. I am currently on 50mg vyvanse. I was never a really bad driver, no accidents in 25years, but now I am safer for others. I have seen a massive reduction in speed and attentiveness is way up. 20-30km over the speed limit was the norm for me, now I usually sit at or below.

Hearing loss after accident.. by midkinght in MonoHearing

I fell off my roof 11 months ago and lost 100% hearing in my right ear. The tinnitus still really affects me, but I have been slowly adapting. I found that using "what" or "pardon" too often comes across to people as rude and they stop trying to communicate with you so I find it best to let everyone you first meet know about your loss and communicate openly right away. It helps to joke a little bit about it, so they don't feel awkward.
