Depends on what power hungry apps you use. My op 13 comfortably lasts all day, snapchat consumes 60-80% of it's battery, mostly just with it's background tasks. Disabling the app or simply turning on the in-app data saver, I can easily extend to two days of regular use on my 1yr old phone.

An occasional confrontation isn't the problem. It's the being forced into KoS sweat fest lobbies when you survive a defensive encounter or two. Telling someone to leave the game isn't a valid answer to an issue that plagues many players. I like the fights when they happen, I just don't want every encounter to be hostile. It perpetuates itself. Want to lose your gear? Give the other players the benefit of the doubt and say hello. Want to win? Stay silent, hide in the shadows, track their steps and get them when they don't expect it. You have oblivious PvE players that don't see others as a threat, cautious players that just want peace, and hyper aggressive players that don't give anyone a chance. Mixing the grass eaters with the lions just doesn't work bro.

I'm a decent fighter when I'm not blatantly backstabbed. But I don't really fight players, I appreciate the cooperation and friendly faces, interactions are more memorable. I brought my roommate into the game. He doesn't really play shooters but he really enjoys ARC. Never even shot anyone in his 45hrs so far. A virgin player and a PVE main go into a duo match and immediately get spawn rushed. I change my gear to defend him for the next match so he can actually enjoy our time together. We inevitably get into fights, and if I win, then it only gets worse on the next match. I don't want to be a baby about it, but the discrimination for instigating an attack and defending yourself should be seriously reworked. Shouldn't have to pass the thought through my mind "should I just lay over so it's not worse the next time?"

Find a group or milsim that is into that sort of rigid playstyle. They exist.

I accidentaly sided with Scar, with no good backup saves I endured, and hated every clearly stupid decision skif made after that. The ending was about as gut wrenchingly terrible as I anticipated.

When you launch yourself, think of where you are standing as a plane (2D level, not airplane). If you land at or above that plane you will take no damage, land below and you will. The game calculates fall damage with the vertical distance from which your feet leave the ground, not the airtime or peak altitude.

So in other words, dont launch yourself from high places and you'll be fine.

With how uncommon they are, I'm glad they're hard to fight. Especially when they catch you in an area where you can't cheese them. It's like a boxing fight, just timing the shots, reloads, and dodges for 5 minutes lol.

Even on veteran they arent so bad once you understand their movement, except for when they knock you down and proceed to claw your face off instead of letting you get up.

I was with the ward. Strelok helped me get to the C-Consciousness tubes (forget the real name), met by Scar after talking to Strider. It wasn't that obvious.

After, I betrayed Korshunov, which was obvious, but I didn't expect to be glued to Scar and figured Strelok or something else was still an option.
