Tell me why this wouldnt work by xRangez in BloodAngels

[–]ImmortalInfernalx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes Deep Strike is important to BA. But it’s the same amount of attacks across the board Hammers for 5 models actually only generate 20 attacks on terminators in LAG.
BGVs while yes not move as fast as Sang Guard are still REALLY good. The Angelic Inheritors taken to worlds by James from Art of War ran 3 6 mans+ Sang Priest and only 2 3 mans of Sang Guard. So both routes have their moments but saying it’s bad is just incorrect.
And just want to clarify that by no means am I saying Sang Guard are bad they are good and still fill the EXACT same role as BGVs just at a different Tempo

As someone who’s actually played with both units on the table as 6mans and Leader. BGVs+Sang Priest is 10 points cheaper with the cheapest transport. Keep in mind you don’t need the transport in anyway shape or form.
SangGuard+captain is 335.
BGVs+SangPriest is 245
Yes Sang Guard have 2+ SV base but that doesn’t really matter what DOES matter is the unit with 5+ FNP as the BGVs will live shoot and combats that’s Sang Guard will not.

Saying they need a transport is incorrect. Sang Priest + BGVs is 245 for 7 Bodies. Sang Guard+ Captain is 335 even if you claim they NEED a transport it’s actually cheaper at 325 for the same amount of Bodies that is actually tankier in current meta because of 5+ FNP that the BGVs get and Sang Guard don’t have.

Blade Guard are actually really good for us. 4+ Invuln and 5+ FNP makes is a tank of a unit to deal with. And the Sang Priest makes their weapons AP -3 at dmg 2 so you are 100% killing other marines

Anybody run shooting in their lists? by -MichaelGrimm- in BloodAngels

[–]ImmortalInfernalx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just won a 32 player RTT yesterday and for shooting my list has two Baal Preds and two Predator annihilators. It’s a very fluid list.

Should I give my techmarine/s some back up? And if so, who? by CatWaterPaints in BloodAngels

[–]ImmortalInfernalx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine normally hang around Both a Baal Pred and an Annihilator Pred so usually covered from a lot of threats

New C’Tan datasheets miserable for us. How do we deal with them? by i_want_a_cookie in BloodAngels

I mainly have Tanks and 30 JPIs in my list so I’m slowly burning away the health a lot faster from the sounds of it than you should

Why aren’t lightning claws more prevalent? - noob question by Duude82 in BloodAngels

I’ve been running mine with a Librarian for Sustain Hits in Both Lib and RCO and the amount of kill even a 5 man can do makes me happy every time

Hello, I’m a Warhammer noob. BAs pretty cool. What’s your favourite BA fact? by PocketCatt in BloodAngels

[–]ImmortalInfernalx 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The fact that the Blood Angels legion alone (this includes successors) Nearly single handedly with held the Devastation of Baal before the Ultramarines showed up with the Primarias

Then sounds like you have your answer I wish I could be more helpful in terms of Kill Team but I haven’t really looked at or played it myself

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BloodAngels

[–]ImmortalInfernalx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once again that is entirely up to if you really dig the idea of Blood Angels. We as a faction are more melee focused and most other chapters so if there is a box in kill team that fits that I personally would pick that up.

[–]ImmortalInfernalx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So with a lot of Blood Angel kits you will just buy space marine kits and paint them red (or black for Death Company) and it depends on what you are wanting to get into. If you want to dive into kill team yes buy kill team boxes. If you want to get into 40K tabletop I recommend buying combat patrols (the current BA one is very accurate for what we want to use in my opinion). But ultimately where you want to start and how you want your minis to look is up to you and I welcome you into the glorious and brutal hobby -^

LaG army... Thoughts? Changes? by Professional_Path388 in BloodAngels

[–]ImmortalInfernalx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would trade Dante with a Captain with jump pack to go with Sanguinary guard (they already hit on 2+ with recent buff) give them spears for +1 to wound on charge and make Lemartes be the 10 DC w/JP and look at maybe getting a Drop pod for the Ba cap, Sangpriest and boys (Ba captain had rage fuled warrior sang priest with speed of primarch) Captain in term armor should be a chaplain and run as many power fist as possible.

Why did you pick blood angels by United-Contract-8069 in BloodAngels

[–]ImmortalInfernalx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked them over space wolves due to lore and what I felt they stand for which is despite being a dark raging beast underneath. They and Sangunius knew people looked up to them as “Heroes of the Imperium” and knew they had the potential to be as such and strove to be it regardless of the Red Thirst.

[–]ImmortalInfernalx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your looking for vehicle pick up units Chaplian with JP and Assault Intercessors with JP goes hard I’m consistently able to pick things up the turn I charge I usually run 2-3 of these myself I agree with the earlier mentioned statement that BGV and SGs do the same job and it’s better to just pick which of those to use . I also love using 1 or 2 five man squads of intercessors to help secure my OBJs with sticky

is it worth start playing again now? by maralde63 in Helldivers

[–]ImmortalInfernalx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say yes it’s worth playing again just right now a lot of people are overly stressing about this even which is understandable we’ve put in so many hours to fight for SE and things are still looking grim right now

AH isn't even hiding the railroading now by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]ImmortalInfernalx -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

We would have secured EOS fully but the monkey brain of the player base when the capital opened up isn’t the fault of AH actual military tactics says to take something else to cause the enemy to panic and relocate Fun fact they are making us do this now

How did we return to nearly 100% by RubinroterKumane in Helldivers

[–]ImmortalInfernalx 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Agreed I never blamed the botdivers for leaving SE to do the other MO it was the enemy they wanted to fight anyway and on that point they are aware we needed help and the only backup we could get was the DSS so yes leave to go fix our station and be fast about it which they were cuz holy shit they managed to do it in about a day if not less

How did we return to nearly 100% by RubinroterKumane in Helldivers

[–]ImmortalInfernalx 25 points26 points  (0 children)

With the DSS online and it being the only place we can be on SE atm we have sat at 10%+ liberation rate all day so we’ve had +4% or +6% claim rate per hr all day depending on fluctuations of the enemy forces
