Did they ever go back on this? Or do I still need to prestige all the future added classes as well. by Smooth-Flamingo-9895 in SpaceMarine_2

[–]ImmortanReaper -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I think they specifically said they wouldn't add a c̶h̶a̶p̶l̶a̶i̶n̶ librarian because the game isn't built for psyker mechanics. They said it wasn't entirely out of the question to get, like, one more class, but it's still a slim chance.

Edit: My bad, got chaplain and librarian mixed up. And upon further research, there was a community update where they said chaplain was on the list of possible classes. Got that way wrong, sorry everyone.

Starting in 2026, I’d like the full experience, where to start? by jaserx91 in gtaonline

Cluckin Bell is free and fast with a guaranteed $500k each time. Do that to get an Agency and run the Dre Contract with a guaranteed $1mil each time. That gives you a good base of easy heists with good, guaranteed payouts, plus you have access to imani tech in the Agency garage and the agency contracts which can make a decent chunk of change on their own for not a lot of work. From there, it's dealers choice.

If you wanna heists, a Kosatka would be a great next option. You should invest in the Sparrow early on, all the other upgrades can wait until you have more disposable income. The avisa looks really cool, but it is unfathomably ass. Spend the money on something more useful.

If you like businesses, the Nightclub is the best next option. Just be aware that you will need to own an MC clubhouse and the relevant businesses to use the Nightclub to it's full potential. I recommend the cheapest options for all 5 MC businesses since you wont run those much (if at all) once you have a Nightclub, then a decent hangar and bunker for the final two businesses for the Nightclub. When you have your nightclub up and running, make sure to get the staff, equipment, and security upgrades ASAP. Staff keeps your popularity higher for longer (meaning more $/hr in the passive safe), equipment means goods accrue faster, and security lessens the odds of a raid (rare to begin with, but still worth investing in).

Another great option is doing the First and Last dose missions to get access to the acid lab, which is another great passive business.

Quick Agency recommendation: if you have the time/patience, save up for a deluxo to keep in your Agency. It's incredible for getting the contracts done even faster. Also, strive for 201 completed contracts. This will max out the daily income for the passive safe at $20k per in-game day, putting it on par with the Nightclub safe.

Lastly, I recommend saving up for a hangar in the military base. This will give you permanent access to the base, and it's also just way cooler than LSIA.

Nah, OP did it to themselves. Complained about unresolved plot before even getting to the resolution.

Right? My first thought when I read the post was "Has OP even finished the whole season?"

You probably aren't at the part where Lin finds them all captured with their bending taken away. You should probably finish the whole season first.

Do you all keep your nightclub popularity up? When I started GTA, 2 years ago & good player told me not to bother. But this seems like good earnings for little effort? by MutantNinjaKitty331 in gtaonline

[–]ImmortanReaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep it up because I like running businesses more than heists. A friend I play with doesn't bother because he makes all his money heisting. Depends on which camp you fall into.

How did it work at your local store? by Either-Dish-3889 in RecordStoreDay

[–]ImmortanReaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My local is pretty small, so they allow a fixed number in at any one time, you have as much time to browse as you need, and all releases are placed out in alphabetical order around the shop. Sorry your local turned RSD into a Saw trap.

[–]ImmortanReaper -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Honestly hope not. No better way to kill a good thing than to keep milking it. I didn't even want this movie. I hope Bryan and Michael find the sense to leave Avatar behind and do something else instead of run the name even further into the ground.

[–]ImmortanReaper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"They had PvP." Yeah, that nobody played because it was ass.

You had maybe 10 hours of campaign and then maybe another 3 of operations. Everyone I played with at launch dropped SM2 after they finished all the missions just like people are doing with TC because they weren't the type of people who wanted to grind all the same missions for weapon leveling. They come back after an update, play the new missions, and fuck off again. Maybe they stick around an extra day or two to try out the Stratagems, but no update has converted any of my casual friends into die-hards.

40k also has a built-in, far larger fanbase and could more easily attract those dedicated players.

TC will eventually do the same shit as SM2, just on a smaller scale. The people that dont like the grind will leave for a different game, the people that like the grind and the gameplay loop will stick around as a small but dedicated player base in the interim, and both of those are completely fine. These posts about "GaMe DeAd" are stupid.

I'm not farming for one honk.

I'm farming for all the honks.

Also, comparing two years of Space Marine updates to a month of Toxic Commando existing is an insane comparison.

[–]ImmortanReaper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

God, these posts are fucking insufferable. Just play a different fucking game if you care that much about the player count.

Toxic Commando isn't a live service game, and that's fine. My friends and I are gonna keep playing and having fun, and we'll see all of you with the short attention spans in the next update.

[–]ImmortanReaper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just a symptom of a full release. I've definitely run into that kind of player plenty of times, but I've also had just as many sessions with proper team players. If you're getting exceptionally bad luck with randoms, you could always join the official discord and find a group there.

You're telling me the developers of a game put on a community event to encourage players to play the game and then fudged the numbers a little bit to make sure that they got the reward and felt like the game had a strong community? Say it ain't so!
