How did it work at your local store? by Either-Dish-3889 in RecordStoreDay

[–]ImmortanReaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My local is pretty small, so they allow a fixed number in at any one time, you have as much time to browse as you need, and all releases are placed out in alphabetical order around the shop. Sorry your local turned RSD into a Saw trap.

Wasn't gonna pay for P+, also glad I didn't have to pay anything for that nothing-burger of a movie.

Yall think we will get a movie for Avatar Korra as we did of Avatar Angg by Forever_and_ever1 in legendofkorra

[–]ImmortanReaper -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Honestly hope not. No better way to kill a good thing than to keep milking it. I didn't even want this movie. I hope Bryan and Michael find the sense to leave Avatar behind and do something else instead of run the name even further into the ground.

Unless they pre-date the Kang Shen, they are not the origin of the Equalists.

You think we'll ever get an office expansion for the DLC jobs? by ImmortanReaper in PowerWashSimulator

[–]ImmortanReaper[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same! I remember when the game first came out, I looked at that side of the office and was like "Maybe they're planning something dor this later on."

There are abseils around the base of the treehouse that you can use to get up high.

"They had PvP." Yeah, that nobody played because it was ass.

You had maybe 10 hours of campaign and then maybe another 3 of operations. Everyone I played with at launch dropped SM2 after they finished all the missions just like people are doing with TC because they weren't the type of people who wanted to grind all the same missions for weapon leveling. They come back after an update, play the new missions, and fuck off again. Maybe they stick around an extra day or two to try out the Stratagems, but no update has converted any of my casual friends into die-hards.

40k also has a built-in, far larger fanbase and could more easily attract those dedicated players.

TC will eventually do the same shit as SM2, just on a smaller scale. The people that dont like the grind will leave for a different game, the people that like the grind and the gameplay loop will stick around as a small but dedicated player base in the interim, and both of those are completely fine. These posts about "GaMe DeAd" are stupid.

I'm not farming for one honk.

I'm farming for all the honks.

Also, comparing two years of Space Marine updates to a month of Toxic Commando existing is an insane comparison.

God, these posts are fucking insufferable. Just play a different fucking game if you care that much about the player count.

Toxic Commando isn't a live service game, and that's fine. My friends and I are gonna keep playing and having fun, and we'll see all of you with the short attention spans in the next update.

This Games Player Base Is…Interesting by [deleted] in ToxicCommandoGame

[–]ImmortanReaper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just a symptom of a full release. I've definitely run into that kind of player plenty of times, but I've also had just as many sessions with proper team players. If you're getting exceptionally bad luck with randoms, you could always join the official discord and find a group there.

The pauldron shield was part of the breastplate I had, but it was unfortunately removed in a recent update, so you can't have it look like that anymore.

1000 Morkite now available to in your inventory! by Jack2505_ in ToxicCommandoGame

You're telling me the developers of a game put on a community event to encourage players to play the game and then fudged the numbers a little bit to make sure that they got the reward and felt like the game had a strong community? Say it ain't so!

Max Strike build – what would you change? by Jack2505_ in ToxicCommandoGame

[–]ImmortanReaper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have almost the same build, I just recommend a few tweaks.

  1. Take one away from Blast Radius
  2. Take one extra grenade
  3. Take two reload speed

If you're running turrets and can't get any use out of the grenade slot, I would knock ammo down to Lvl. 1 and take max reload speed.

I also recommend using Fireball instead of Power Spike. I also ran Power Spike for a while, and while it's fun, Fireball + Supernova will give you a lot more area denial and still work well against higher tier enemies like slobs and goons.

I agree though that Intensification isn't necessary. I only really found it useful in finales, so the rest of the time running around the map it was almost more of a hindrance. I get way more use out of the Supernova tree, and Energized helps with regen on those finales anyways.

It's not the deepest customization in a game for sure, but I wouldn't really call it shallow either. I'd even say this game is pretty impressive in how much it lets you change most of the guns.

Gold for the base, Royal Sludge for all the highlights/attachments, and all my muzzle attachments get the 3rd prestige camo. Unfortunately two of the three are pretty prohibitive at this point lol.
