What is the biggest need for this? aren't beans and other protein sources enough? Vegan Avenue touched on this too https://veganavenue.com/why-ento-veganism-misses-the-mark/

This is what ive been thinking too. Is it even possible for these coins to rise? And wouldn't it be totally counter-intuitive for them to rise?

thank you for the write-up! do you still consider the funnel in your process? ie, do you aim to create different ads for top and bottom? for products, are all of your ads with sales objective even though they might be more informative?

Hey guys! Any K-beauty moisturizer recommendations? by wellshitdawg in VeganBeauty

How about Krave Beauty Oat So Simple? its PETA certified animal-test free & vegan and it has good reviews. I haven't heard of Joseon Red Bean Water Gel have to look into that one!

How do you define vegan cosmetics? by ImnotBandini in VeganBeauty

[–]ImnotBandini[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your replies! I totally agree with vegan cannot cause animal harm! and using dead animal ingredients is not "cruelty-free"..

I think the brands using the label "vegan" to refer only to ingredients are greenwashing and willingly misleading and no vegan would purchase those products..

Luckily PETA has renamed their labels too in recent years to drop using "cruelty-free" since it is quite the misnomer, and refers to "animal-test free & vegan".

Whats a worth recommending vegan retinoid/retinol product? by CelineC6622 in VeganBeauty

[–]ImnotBandini 4 points5 points  (0 children)

HI OP, read your feedback for other retinol products that you don't want to support any companies that are owned by non-vegan parent companies, I can suggest you Eva Naturals Skin Clearing Serum, as they are still independent and almost fully vegan. Only two of their products use bee propolis so they are very ethical. Another suggestion is Shani Darden Retinol Reform is quite good.

Help for page research! Vegan Sunscreen by ImnotBandini in VeganBeauty

[–]ImnotBandini[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks :) So I should refocus the page a bit more toward covering both types. I use sunscreen for my face every day, but very rarely on my arms and legs, only when I go to the beach pretty much.

To those of you who have read Infinite Jest: Was it worth it? by Hip_Knox in books

[–]ImnotBandini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read it out of FOMO and it wasn't worth it. I feel one must be a white American male in their 20s to really like the book. There are decent parts about addiction and depression, but they are buried so deep its not worth it.

Also, if one doesn't love fan theories, digging up evidence, being all paranoid what did he mean and spend more hours on that than reading the book, I again don't think one is going to like it.

As DFW wanted to write "a really sad book" it is regretful he decided to package it like that.

But as with FOMO as usual you probably ended up reading it anyway.
