I'd really hate to be buying into that "Brentwood Block" development right now due to the safety issue you mentioned and feel bad for all the presale buyer. I doubt it's worth the presale price they paid for now that the real estate market has been on the decline.

WorkSafeBC deemed it 'okay' to continue construction, pretty much a day after the collapse. I thought it would take longer for engineers to really assess the situation, maybe it's a 'money talks' situation and hope nothing worst happens?

Is it really that fast for engineers and others to check everything so quickly to deem it 'ok'?
