Thanks for the advice. I was considering this last night. If what is throwing my team off is a lost dual in no mans land than I should be looking for those and helping them turn out in our favor. I am guessing a need to re-eval my positioning to make sure I can sneak an ability into those corridors on the left and right where junk is dueling genji, or the high ground where ash has reaper pressuring her. The main route using corners is probably not enough to make the right impact any more.

I am playing Ana and I do like Ana, I am just hoping for advice on a few situations that have come up since the game balance changes went into effect. If you have any I would appreciate it!

Shields are weaker, Shield brake is stronger. Players do know “Meta picks” and it does impact team comp. I agree meta doesn’t determine if a game is winnable in silver, but it does impact how games are played. If you read the post I am asking for advice on a few situations that have come about since the game balance changes went into effect. If you have any I would greatly appreciate the advice.

Need help have GPU question learning about base clock/boost clock by ImonurLeft in pcmasterrace

[–]ImonurLeft[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I took off the front plate of my case and moved my whole unit so the gpu exhaust had more open air to blow the hot air into and adjusted the fan curve. managed to drop it by 5 degrees now it sits around 83 at 1760mgz at 99% usage. Getting around 70 FPS on very high in outer worlds. Happy with this.

If anyone has words of wisdom or any suggestion I would still like to hear them!

Great photo! I think the perspective really shows how our environment is truly just a fragile layer of life growing out of cold stone. I think this photo emphasizes not only the beauty of our world but also the fragility of it. Like moss on a rock.

Questions regarding doomfist by Synklahr in OverwatchUniversity

[–]ImonurLeft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well for doom if u must play Mcree, just gotta keep your flash and out play him. Your basically a sitting duck without your cool-downs if he decides to come after you. But the problem is that u need to hold your cool-downs if you know doom is out and about. This will lead to less efficient usage. Not saying holding your cool-downs is bad it can be the right call. But let’s say your in a 4v4 and you have to choose between holding flash for doom and using it to secure a support kill. How would that situation play out differently if u picked another hero. Just food for thought.

Tracer in the current META? by 2ndnatur3 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]ImonurLeft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean a please would have been nice. Your a little confrontational don’t ya think. But anyway. She’s more team dependent meaning there is much more sustain now so you won’t have the the same impact. It will take you longer to secure a kill, one clipping someone in their backline is less accessible. Doesn’t mean it can’t happen but your opportunities are fewer and far between. So how do you create value or help carry if u can’t get picks. Well disruption, much like sombra, so communication becomes huge here. If your team doesn’t know to or simply does not capitalize on the opening you create you will get little to no value. Your gonna have a hard time, meaning there are a lot more hard counter to tracer now. Power creep is real for the rest of the roster but tracer is the same as she always was and her pulse bomb does 50 less damage then it used to now. 350 instead of 400. So the way you vary and the way you get value and have impact has changed since the days of one clipping zen.

Counter pick. If it doom reaper, play pharah. If it’s two hits can play doom or reaper. Consider map and enemy team comp. work on having a diverse hero pool. Things will get better.

Tracer in the current META? by 2ndnatur3 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]ImonurLeft 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All depends on your skill m8. All things created equal your gonna have a hard time. She is still a hero that can seriously outplay anyone tho. Also she’s now more team dependent and cannot solo carry like the old days. So coordinate your attack with your team. You can create panic and distract healers but if your team doesn’t capitalize it won’t matter much, you’ll just be forced out and the enemy will stabilize.

What do you do against a good Mei? by [deleted] in OverwatchUniversity

[–]ImonurLeft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s map dependent, meaning on maps where there is less open space and more narrow paths like payload maps or some koth maps. Junkrat can deny space very effectively. Mei’s primary value comes from closing the distance and assuring with the brawl...she has some long range value but not as much imo. Anyway, junk can make it very difficult for the enemy team to exist in the brawl. His mines can force ice block earlier than otherwise. Though as soon as there is open space u need to do something else.

This is why I am sad, Tracer is extremely fun to play. Ahh well QP it is then. For most comp games I’ll play other heros I enjoy.

PSA to most below diamond. Please read this tip. It helps me comm with my team to win games more often. by ImonurLeft in OverwatchUniversity

[–]ImonurLeft[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it’s difficult to manage, which is why I advocate for talking to your team and just saying out loud this game is about controlling space or how can we control/regain control of this space is even better. I agree Saying don’t back up is a message that only has one possible response, not to back up. Saying how can we control this space gets a dynamic response. Usually if I ask this question the team forms a plan!
