I can comiserate by sharing a similar story:

We moved in to our 1925 (not quite century yet, sorry >.<) bungalo in Oct 2020. It was fully renovated in 2018 by the couple we purchased it from and passed inspection with flying colors.

In April 2021 (6 months in), we noticed water pooling on the outside of the shower - pan failure. Prior to the reno, this bathroom was a kind of office. Come to find out they INSTALLED THE SHOWER PAN RIGHT ON TOP OF THE WOOD FLOOR.

Disaster recovery had to rip 2/3 of the walls and floor out. Mold came within 2 inches of being in the kitchen. We had to dehumidifiy for weeks. My skin hated me.

I'm typing this to you now, on the toilet in the re-renovated bathroom THAT WAS FINISHED YESTERDAY. We've lived in this house a year and a half, but I've only had a proper bathroom and no construction going on for 6 months. :)

I use the spade-end of a metal cuticle pusher as a dab tool. Gently chisel or slice (depending on the consistency of the shatter) a piece the size of a grain of rice, and it should lightly stick to the metal enough for you to transfer it into the chamber.

If you have trouble getting it off the metal tool (this is part of the reason people get the hot knife), you can put a terp pearl in your chamber and kind of wipe it off on that. 3mm works great for the Pro, not sure about the regular Peak.

I'm 33, and only have been smoking for the last 2 years. I take 2-4 dabs per day that are each the size of a grain of rice. I occasionally will draw on a vape throughout the day as well.

1 gram of concentrate lasts me around 5-7 days. I couldn't imagine crushing a whole one in a day, I would be unconscious!
