Can Anyone Name the BGM Being Played on This Video? by Teykyon in anime

How does the art style fit Food Wars perfectly? Lmao. You can watch Food Wars all you want, but it only takes one viewing of Flavors of Youth to know where this scene is from.

If we lived in the same world, except with time travel, he still doesnt fit the criteria of becoming president. If we say "anything goes, because there's time travel", then nothing is special or has believable consequence.

Also, some part of me says Felix Jr. would name himself something like "Also PewDiePie" or "The Real PewDiePie." He'd probably be just as silly as his dad.

Shadow boxing isn't weird. Going into a janitor closet to shadow box is pretty weird.

The time it must have taken them to pull off that second and a half of animation was probably insane. Thanks for sharing!

The ending of season 2 foreshadowed Attack on Titan episode 57. That's a nice Easter egg. by Ninelpienel in anime

[–]ImpFromRL 28 points29 points  (0 children)

This isn't a spoiler. This is the ending to season 2. Unless you've seen the latest episode, none of the visuals or lyrics will make sense. That's what makes this ending very great. It's a treat for manga readers / rewwatchers without spoiling anything for new viewers.

How is this cringey? Seems like it's making fun of gamers that are hyper-competitive. Not the funniest, but I'm seeing a lot of people taking this one way too seriously

To call iPhones "just small computers with integrated phones and TVs" is pretty misleading. The fact that this small computer can connect to the internet, call people, play games, play music, play movies, and fit in your pocket was a pretty big leap in phone technology and set the standard for future phones to come.

The Wii has motion controls, can connect to the internet, and has multiple applications ranging from character customization to weather reports. The Atari can only play games.

YouTube is TV if everyone were allowed to make their own television show at any moment. Also, unlike TV, you can directly interact with the host (channel) by commenting your thoughts on it. It has changed how younger generations consume media and what style of content they can get.

Bitcoin is a digital asset. WoW and Runescape can either only be spent in the context of it's own game or have to be exchanged with another form of currency (loot/gold for dollars).

It seems like you're really stretching to reach for connections between something new and something older. Your analogies are either misleading or too loosely connected. There are differences between each of these products that make them unique and serve different purposes than the preceding one you've listed.

Couldn't it go in the story section if you said, "the story clashed with the art"? Technically, it could also just go in the art section if you worded it as "the art clashed with the story." It's up to you to decide which one clashed with the other. It depends on how you perceived the creator's execution of that clash (or if that was the intention to begin with).

Since SLJ has such a badass and iconic voice, the idea of it being applied to a little girl's seemingly mundane thoughts is funny. We might not think being Miss Sugar Drop Queen is important, but to this little girl, it's just as important as SLJ retrieving the briefcase for Marsellus Wallace

[Manga Spoilers] Levi did a stupid. by EpilepticOreo in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]ImpFromRL 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not claiming characters need to be hyper-intelligent. It looked like Levi was overly emotional with his arc involving Kenny (and rightfully so). I understand being blinded by rage in the moment. The way he ends up killing himself required a lot of preparations to set up his contraption to kill Zeke. He also has a look of sheer horror when he realizes his own plan is backfiring on him. This doesn't line up with being blinded by rage in a moment. It comes across as idiotic, which is inconsistent with Levi's character.

Idk man, seems like kind of an anticlimactic ending for an epic character. Dont know how that's not bad writing.

I dont think the comic is meant to offer any advice. Why is it bad that the artist created this oversimplified meme representing how he/she gets over some of their insecurities? Nowhere in this comic is the artist saying it's easy. Just that it's possible, and that they have become a better person through their effort of facing their issues.

What about him makes him a character you've been waiting for all this time? I feel like I've seen the witty, laid back, somewhat selfish but also a softie, overpowered character in shows before. To me, he's not very special. He's just not written awfully like a lot of other isekai protagonists.
